Love this bike but have two complaints. First one is that the stem is too long but i’m hoping they make replacement parts soon so I can swap them out. My second one is that the freehub is too loud for me. I have tried adding grease already and it seemed to help a little but not much. Would my local bike shop be able to help replace the freehub with a quieter one? Is that a common ask?

Let me know if you guys have had any luck with this. All help is appreciated.

I am 5’8” with a 32 inch inseam. The X-Lab website recommends a Medium but some people my size said they are much happier on a small. I don’t have a LBS nearby so am ordering online. If you were in my shoes, which size would you go with?

Has anyone heard any rumors regarding the new Domane generation? I’m planning to purchase a new bike end of July and have heard a new model might come out this summer. Wanted to come here and see if anyone has heard anything else.

I have a Chase Sapphire Preferred and always end up transferring points to Hyatt. I usually
only stay at a Hyatt hotel about 10ish nights a year. I see one of the benefits is a free night every year so I believe that’s enough to cover the annual fee. I also work right next to a Hyatt that has a little coffee shop inside so I end up going there 3-4 times a week. I believe those transactions would be 9x points.

New biker here and have decided to get a real bike fit end of week. I’m riding a 15 year old bike with an extremely old saddle that has a ton of cushion. I want to get a new modern one with a little less cushion but unsure if I should purchase one before or after my bike fit.

I’m worried i’ll have my bike perfectly adjusted to me but once i switch saddles things won’t feel as good. What would you guys recommend I do? Bike fit is end of week.

I currently live in Piedmont Heights/Lindbergh (right next to Gino’s Pizza) and am planning to move soon. I’m looking to stay ITP but a little farther from the city.

Right now I’m considering apartments near Chastain Park (mostly off Roswell Road) and in Brookhaven, but I’m having a hard time deciding between the two.

I work in Buckhead, and during rush hour both areas seem to be about a 10–20 minute drive, so commute isn’t a huge differentiator.

I enjoy running and biking, and being able to walk around and feel safe is a big priority for me. I’m 25, and while I know most people my age are in Midtown/ViHi, having at least somewhat of a younger crowd nearby still matters.

Would love to hear any thoughts or experiences with either area. Thanks.

Looking for good paths or roads to ride my roadbike on after work. Don’t really love biking on the east side of the beltline since it gets so crowded. Also would love an area with lots of elevation. Might try out PATH400 but worried it’s similar to the beltline in terms of crowd. I’m in buckhead so areas close to that would be great.
