The new rezael grade isn't confirmed+ some thoughts on support in dzbto 17

We know that the new 5 fantome decks from set 16 will get support in set 17 , mostly likely RRRs for each

I feel that it's pretty much guaranteed that keter will have 4 RRRs in the booster and the section is quite fully loaded

Brandt gate remains the biggest question mark in the set , we don't know what we might get ( non fantome alphard or new zorga fantome)

Stoicheia section is full in the RRR department as zerith will have 2 RRRs and one potentially for welstra, the rest might go for maybe zorga and berucrea

Lyrical, is kinda question mark too

Dragon empire aside from new varga ( hopefully) + his RRR and lisciafael RRR, I don't have any other predictions

Dark state, we might potentially receive another duel nation for liael that will be put with dark state section similar to set 13 , aside from liael oddium RRR artisaria gab and maybe og Unica are getting support ( both og and fantome magnolia received support in set 14 ) there's is the possibility

How I would reconstruce suo vs suzune ( gameplay wise)

I do like any games in the anime that involve suo , they always end as bangers (personally). However, suo vs suzune leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, because of how the match in the anime was constructed.

The biggest issue in this match, was Suo method to deal with the lock mechanism. allow me to elaborate

, to ensure that the lock , wouldn't affect his divine skill kill potential specifically, suo added Shatter Colossus specifically to ensure that his front row will be empty ( plus more draws ) and utilities elaboration wizard, to add any important piece from the soul ( like pg or key attacker) . From the hypothetical and legal sides there are no issues with how suo Played in his turn 3, but realistically in real life there are multiple problems with suo game plan, such as

1- over relying on blangdmire Rideline skills for advantage, because of how blangdmire Rideline work, there's at least 40-50% that you won't get the full benefits from it , not to mention there's no control over what you put in the soul

2- relying on Shatter Colossus to avoid lock, while it wasn't a mistake , because of how blangdmire works and the board that suo aimed to create, not mentioning that he was running 4 copies of this unit, demanded that suo keep any copy he could find in his hand, which in turn compromise his early game defense

3- hitting 4 damage by turn 3 , I know suo wanted cb , so he can use wizard skill, but 4 by turn 3 is little bit too much, he watched suzune Play before and has knowledge of how strong artisaria person turn could be. I know he might not have any potential backrow options or he was concerned that he might get damage denied, but he is assumed to obtain Vartak before this match and usually most matches get closed by turn 4-5 .

I think could have added vartak , to lower his reliance on wizard and Shatter Colossus , Daduusha , could have been another good option in this match as it more or less gives you similar benefits as Shatter Colossus, but we don't know if he has that card or not

kagetsu analytical skills should credibility should be questioned

During the fight against kurumi, kagetsu demonstrated a great ability to read the field and analyze the opponent, he literally figured, kurumi deck entire strategy and even kinda predicted zerith fantom skill. He decided that the best course of action Is to go in the offense ( keep this in mind)

Now, this raises the question of why he was kinda playful against kurumi but was hyping and glazing ruka to high sky ( considering her challenge aside from their past) , assuming that he figured ruka deck mechanic same as zerith. this is begging yet another important question, why kagetsu played cautiously , like choosing to use Ormur Sem Verdario instead of Eilift Gullmani . I think, he might figured out that ruka requires board pressure, but again he was playing against a Stoicheia Deck, the nation Excels at recovering their own board.
