How do you know if you actually lost feelings or if you’re just emotionally pulling away?
Genuine question because sometimes I feel like the moment I start getting too emotionally close to someone, I suddenly become distant and start questioning everything 😭 For people who have avoidant tendencies, how do you tell the difference between genuinely losing feelings and just being scared of vulnerability or getting hurt?
Self-taught web devs, what do you wish you focused on earlier?
I’m currently studying and building projects, but sometimes I feel like I’m learning so many things without knowing which skills actually matter when it comes to becoming job-ready 😭 What’s something you wish you focused on earlier that genuinely helped you get better or land opportunities?
How can I budget ₱2,000 (around $35) a week as a student living in a dorm?
I’m a student living in a dorm, and I’m trying to figure out how to properly budget ₱2,000. I’m not sure how to divide it between food, transportation, savings, and other expenses. I also tend to spend money on random things sometimes.
For students who have a similar budget, how do you guys make your money last? Would love to hear how you divide your budget and any tips you have!
What niche or unnecessary things have you bought that you ended up loving?
I’m looking for random, niche things or small appliances to buy for myself 😭 I’m not necessarily looking for something super practical or life-changing—just something fun, interesting, or weirdly useful to have. What are some things you bought without expecting much from them but ended up really liking?
Is Computer Science still worth it in the Philippines?
I’m currently taking Computer Science (3rd yr) and honestly, I still don’t know if I’m on the right path. I have pretty good grades, but I’m not really that fond of computers, and sometimes I feel so out of place in this course. I chose it because during my first year, it seemed like the most practical option, but now I’m scared that I won’t even be able to get a job after graduating.
For those in CS/IT or already working in the industry, is it still worth pursuing in the Philippines? And what kind of jobs or internships can I apply for right now as a student to gain experience and maybe earn some extra money? Any advice would really help!
Budget-friendly air fryer recipes?
Can you guys share your favorite healthy and budget-friendly air fryer recipes? Preferably something high in protein and gym-friendly, but still actually tasty 😭 Bonus if the ingredients are easy to find and the recipe is beginner-friendly!
Niche high-protein foods?
Can you guys suggest some less common foods that are high in protein? I’m getting kinda tired of the usual eggs and chicken breast. Looking for something different (budget friendly) but still easy to add to my meals!
