I just realized how people actually never liked the philippines genuinely outside of pinoy baiting, where that unlike other asian nations where the glaze is well, glaze, their "appreciation" if its philippine is deeply rooted in traffic farming and pinoy pride fishing. Outside of that, the nation is actually more universally hated (see: orientalism). Where that unlike the appreciation of thailand's mango sticky rice and its plethora of foods for example, which is really appreciation on their part even if some of it is glaze, the same for the Philippines' foods like ube, jolibee, etc, are forced and deliberate to pander the gullible people-pleasing filipinos and their absurdly huge screen time on social media that can rival ipad kids. The cuisine is actually more universally disliked in the world, that ones liking it is actually just pinoy baiting. This can also be seen in various videos and posts where if its other countries, there are many foreigner who talk about it and like (well even if its glaze, see: weeboos), and also contribute to traffic with those comments, etc. But if its a video or post specifically talking about a filipino food that is remotely positive, expect the comment section to be filled to the brim of filipinos, no other nationality at all aside from some niche ones like expats (ironically) and others participating (even indirectly and unkowingly) to the pinoy bait and fishing for filipino likes.

In short, nobody likes the philippines, outside if they're pinoy baiting. People around the world are simply just exploiting the absurd screen time these filos generate. Outside of that, its amongst the most hated in the world.

EDIT: Also to add, the only things the world lieks about the country, is basically filipinas (especially below 20 because why not, according to sexpats), and people (that they can farm engagements from). Outside of that, it is literally along the tier of india or might as well close to china in vitriol and global hatred. Everybody's hatred of the filipino nationality is basically near close as to those jews, with many people actually treat filos as the "n****r" of asia (yes, not even other asian countries even indians, get that treatment), with hatred on par with those romanis. Not to mention, I've heard from a source that when an ofw was killed by hamas, literally everybody celebrated. So yes, that is the extent of the world's hatred towards filipinos and the country, to the point both the other side of the spectrum suddenly united solely to hate the country, look at bondi beach for example, and all of this woudnt happened if the country mentioned is either uganda, somalia, etc. Heck, they glaze these countries that literally threw gays on rooftop, while they treat philippines as the homophobia in the world, unanimously.
