if you had a choice.

Would you choose a slower death like cancer where you can say good bye, give your love, and maybe have time to make any amends. But you would suffer towards the end, physically, mentally and emotionally knowing you will die.
Or
Would you choose to die and go quickly like a tragic accident (a plane crash) with no knowledge, no good byes, no time, but no suffering.

Medical History Book recommendations

I throughly enjoy reading historical books about medical diseases, outbreaks, etc.

I recommend Dr. Mary’s Monkey about the AIDs crisis. Anyone else have any recommendations?

Leprosy

Read it is on the rise in Florida right now. Am I surprised? Yes, but honestly no with everything else going on right now. I have seen some stuff over the years too. Any one seeing this yet?? 4,000 year old disease back in action. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Death bed confessions

Anyone who has been a nurse for a while has probably heard them. One of craziest among many. I once took care of catholic clergyman who admitted in his final hours pedo things he had done.. he died like two hours later. Anyone else hear anything crazy, creepy or that has stayed with you?
