Non traditional happily ever afters?

I love me a romance that makes me cry. Love can end in so many ways, as life can, and I love seeing that expressed in romance books. I do not mind if an MC dies at the end after a life beautifully lived or if they fall in love knowing they’re on a time limit or if they both die at the end but they’re happy and together. Somewhere in between a tragedy like Romeo and Juliet and a Happily Ever After.

A couple of my favourites include -

Crown me dead & crown me yours by Liv Zander - Genuinely the most amazing book I have ever read

The healing hearts series by Nicky James

Withering Hope by Amy Hagan

I’d love to see a take on this with a vampire/immortal with a mortal but I’m cool with anything!!!

I’d love to see what everyone has to offer!!!!

Obviously I had to make my best friend as soon as possible! I love how she turned out 😭 maybe not super accurate but that’s how I see her ❤️

You can’t see very well but the hair has a little fluff fan out at the top that reminded me of her puffed up happy shake.

Highly recommend 🫡
