Little ooy(full name is ooy gooy) was rejected by his mom and his siblings didn't make it (darn you Canada, why must you be so cold in winter) but he'd always escape from the pen just to spend time with me. Now he's a fat, spoiled sheep who loves head pats.

Took my Essa, Meleys to the Olive Garden today! It was pretty nice actually, no one said anything. The waiter looked at her but never said anything mean.
But the whole thing was a bit weird because I'm so used to doing rp with my essas, especially when I'm eating. I pretend to eat with them and even share my food with my essas. But I decided to stop myself from doing that in public. It felt so weird. Like I know it's just a stuffed animal, but I swear her eyes looked so sad as if she was begging to have a bite. Loll
Also new Essa!! This was our first outing so I guess it's fair if she was a bit confused on why she didn't get any food. Such a sweetie, we'll need to do a bit more training to get her used to being in public more.

Today Laika and I went to a (mostly) anime convention. I spent almost $300 cad on all sorts of things:)
I was enjoying looking at all the nice cosplays and accessories people were wearing. It was all so cool yet scary. I have an anxiety disorder which makes it very hard for me to be in public without feeling intense nervousness and nausea, but I think having my Essa at my side all day actually helped me a lot. Nobody said anything about her or looked at her weirdly. Which was what I was hoping for.
Near the end me and the people I went with were sitting around, deciding what to do next, when (what I assume was) a mother and her maybe 12-13 y/o kid came up to us to try and have seat in chair that was beside my group. One person I was with immediately saw the Essa and pointed it out. My heart stopped, I had no idea there was another essa owner in the city where I lived. It was amazing. But I was too nervous to actually talk to them, both because of my anxiety and they were way too young for me to be comfortable talking to them lol
But it was super cute. I did end up complementing them and their Essa( they were also wearing an animal mask that I thought was pretty neat, as I used to make the same style of mask) then unfortunately I had to leave. It was super hot and I had already been there all day.
But it was a super fun day, I saw lots of therians, mostly on the younger side so I didn't talk to them. And a few people with fursuits. Lots and lots of cosplays that I didn't know, but some I did. Unfortunately it also smelled really bad in some spots and was super super hot- but aside from than that it was a really good day.
Went to a convention today and spent about $280cad Lmao. I found this amazing vendor who was selling all sorts of keychains, stickers and pins of their own designs. They had truly amazing work. I wish I could've bought more from them lol.
But I ended up just buying this amazing keychain. You cant tell, but it's actually like four layers of resin. And is 3d :)
I'm so excited to use this and keep it on my bag. Idek how much it was. I just had to have it.
Was looking on Etsy for a new Essa. One that's more unique than just the border collie or something. (And because they seem to be less expensive where I live) And I came across... This. Idk if it's just me. But this thing just doesn't really look like other Douglas. Maybe it's the neck. Idk

I spent my birthday mostly alone because it's super super hot where I live and everyone I know is working:(
But I got to spend time with my essas, the picture is of laika, my main Essa. We mainly just spent the day watching movies, eating ice cream and sleeping. Which is how I'd prefer to spend my birthday, honestly. I have a really bad anxiety disorder which makes it very hard for me to be comfortable in public spaces and to be around really anyone. So this was a pretty nice day:)
I'm also getting an ice cream cake for myself and the people I live with later.
One is lighter and has grey ears, but the other is darker and has tan ears. Idk if this means one is fake or it's just a different color. They are too similar to me
I was looking for one to buy on eBay and omg- it literally NOT worth that much. I don't think any stuffed animal should be that much. It was literally under $50, how can you sell it for over $700???
