I’m really bummed I lost my finch plus

Someone gifted me finch plus a year ago and I’m so very grateful for the year that I had with it!

Just today I logged onto the app and realized my gift had finally come to an end; as all good things do. I’m just really sad to lose the breathing exercises and being able to send the cool new vibes to my sister and mom.

Finch is a big part of how I stay in touch with my sister and mom who both live on opposite ends of the country from me. I rarely can afford to see them and this just feels like one more kick of a reminder that I’m alone in this city.

Ok sadness vented and complete. Hopefully Peach understands our new limitation.

Do Not Pet Leash Sleeve for 3/8 inch BioThane Leash

Hello again!

So I’m switching my pup to a 3/8 inch BioThane leash but can’t seem to find a do not pet sleeve for this leash size.

I’ve also never had a BioThane leash before so I’m not sure if a leash sleeve will stay in place. My girl is very sensitive so I don’t want it resting all the way down on top of the clasp.

Any thoughts/recommendations appreciated! A vest/shirt isn’t going to work.

When is the lake going to be warm enough to swim in?

I don’t need it to be bath water warm… just not risking hypothermia temperatures.

Thank you in advance!

Edit: went in today and found it pleasantly cool.

Thin 12 foot leash recs for chihuahua

My current leash is a standard 1 inch and it’s really big! The clip and the leash both bother my pup she’s always dodging the leash while walking.

Her trainer recommended a 12 foot leash but I can’t seem to find any that aren’t too wide for her (they all seem to be 1 inch or 3/4 inch.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Airport Lounges for 12 hour layover?

I’m looking for an airport lounge that opens early in the morning at Logan (one I can pay to access for the day) Due to poor planning, I arrive at Logan at 1:30AM and my flight doesn’t leave for another 12 hours.

Does the North Park Village Nature Center Actually Close at 4pm?

This looks like a really nice hiking spot but I saw online that it has hours from 9am to 4pm. Is that just for the visitors center or can you not hike/walk the area after 4pm?

It’s my small dog’s first birthday today. I think she’d really love a cat tree but it’s very difficult to pick them out online or just looking at the box.

In previous places I’ve lived there have been large pet stores that have cat trees assembled so you can get a good look at them. Anyplace like that in the city (ideally) Or suburbs? I’ve been to Petsmart, Petco etc and they have maybe 1 cat trees assembled to look at.

My chi loves to climb, nest in high areas (my couch which is pretty low is the highest she can get).

Anyone have links or photos of a cat tree that has worked for your chihuahua?

I’ve read softer surfaces are important but outside of that I worry a little about the smaller platforms for jumping between heights because obviously a chihuahua doesn’t move like a cat

DIY balloon arch for a birthday party. I’ve read the Amazon ones are very low quality and the best option is to purchase them from a wholesale supplier.

Any suggestions? Online isn’t an option due to time constraints (last minute party is on Sunday)

Thank you in advance!
