My doctor said nobody should need meds

My procedure is sept 16. I had my endometrial biopsy yesterday and asked questions about getting a hormone panel, HRT, and recovery.

She said she only prescribed ibuprofen because her patients don't need any medication, and that if i had discomfort I should take Tylenol. She said I would go home same day, and that I should rest for 3 days-try walking a bit after that. The doc stated this was an easy procedure and that her nurse had this same one/was back to work in 2.5 weeks.

I feel like this contradicts everything I've read and was told by friends aunts/parents etc.

I actually have pain medication left over from my foot surgery so I'll have that if I need it. But she made it sound like its a walk in the park.

I'm just so confused.

Have fibroids and getting a total hysterectomy

My doctor said that HRT wouldn't be needed and id be fine.

Surgery is in September and I'm terrified. What do you all recommend to help healing and after effects? I've already made an appointment with another doc but was told there was likely nothing needed.

I stupidly grabbed my tirz but left everything else. Packing is stressful!

Im going to stop by the store to get syringes, but theres so many different kinds/sizes. Mine were just included and I didn't pay attention to what they were. Which size or gage should I get?

Sending notifications that you're driving

I used to be close with a friend. They would drive for Lyft and Uber and I would get notifications that they were driving/ share their location with me.

This friend had a mental breakdown and I had to get a restraining order against her. Long story short, she wouldn't leave me alone, threatened to break in and kill my dogs etc.

After the restraining order was finalized in court, notifications stopped. Months later and im getting multiple notifications "xxx is driving with Lyft and would like to share their location with you".

My question for all of you is, is this something that just goes out every single time you drive automatically if they added you in the past? Or if this something you have to manually do each time? Like is it possible this is an accident on her part? Or she deliberately contacting me?

Yes, I have already made a police report that she's possibly violating her VPO. They passed it along to detective and the detective said he doesn't really think that it counts as violating so he won't take it any further. My next step is to let the judge/court know, just so there's a paper trail.

Cheapest place to get flea/tick/heartworm prevention

Id like to find a place to get bulk or semi bulk prevention for myself and my elderly neighbors dogs. She's so sweet and she puts her dogs first but id like to help. Between us both we have 5 dogs all 8-10 lbs.

I checked Costco and sams as I know friends that have memberships and its still expensive. There have to be cheaper online sites out there. A while back i found a few listings from Canada and some wholesale but can't seem to find it.

Most people are upset when they're stuck behind the train for 45 minutes. She sees it as an adventure

"Mom look at that! Look over there! MOM THAT LADY SAID HIIIIIIII!! look where's that plane going?"

She makes me so happy, and I couldn't be mad at spending more time with her, waiting for train to go by :-)

I feel like a blanket would be more effective but cool

I did hand her the blanket after the pic but I couldn't see this and pass by without taking a picture 🤣 maybe she liked the weight of the pillow?

She was such a well-mannered little social butterfly who charmed everyone she met. Her brother the Pomeranian was definitely spicy and decided to scream at every dog he encountered so we had to leave early but she still had fun

Potato absolutely adores live loud music. I get headaches very easily so I don't stay very long but she gets upset if we leave too soon. She is insistent on staying and just completely adores it. She was cool as a cucumber, and a little social butterfly with everyone around. She's been to a few outdoor Music Festival events and she can't get enough.
