Received pistols on 5/15
Both rack grade ($1100 a piece)
First is a Colt slide on an Ithaca (1945) frame
2nd is an Ithaca slide on a Remington Rand (1945) frame
Very happy to have gotten my lifetime limit (4) and have not gotten a GI replacement slide.
Overwhelmed with all the gold in this newly acquired brochure collection. There is even more. Super stoked on the “S&W ‘357’ Magnum” piece. Any guesses on the age of that one specifically?
Just one piece of a huge haul of gun literature acquired recently. The prices are amazing .
Model 19-3 (1973) with some $36 faux stag
Model 17-3 (1971) inherited from pops
Model 10-6 (1974) w/ Texas grips American Holley stocks
M&P Mod. 1905 (1915ish) .38sp
M&P Mod 1905 (1909 ish) .32-20
Model 19 is the most recent acquisition. The model 17-3 was my dads gun, the first gun I ever saw, the first I ever shot, and the reason that I love S&Ws to this day.
