How do you know when you’re READY?

How do you know when you’re ready to start having kids?

My husband and I (both 29) have been married a little over a year and a half. We both want kids eventually. My husband is an attorney and is constantly swamped with work. I work in the schools so I have more flexibility. I recently went off birth control after 13 years to try to regulate my cycle. I really would like to start trying for kids around our 2 year anniversary in September, but my husband said he doesn’t feel ready. We said we would revisit the conversation in June. My question is…does anyone ever FEEL ready? We both make good money, have a dog, have a lot in savings…but my husband says his work is too much. I just feel like if we wait for that to change, it’ll never happen. He also can’t definitively tell me when he will feel ready.

I did it!

Posted here 3 days ago asking if I should or shouldn’t sign up for a race…anyway, I did it! I may have signed up only two days before but I DID IT!!!! did have to take a 10 sec break from running due to terrible side cramp during first mile but ended up finishing a bit faster than when I’d been training!

To sign up or not to sign up….

So I finished the 8 week program a few weeks ago and have still been running 5k. I’ve run 5k 4 times now (but this includes the 5 min power walk warm up). There’s a 5k I’ve been eyeing for this Saturday and I’m still undecided if I should do it. Anxious about psyching myself out and also my husband is away and won’t be able to be there at the finish line but part of me wants to do something just to challenge myself

URGENT: Lost blazer seen in this photo. We had lunch at Avanti Boulder and put the blazer in what we thought was our rental car around 1:30pm. Now I’m thinking I may have accidentally put it in someone else’s unlockeed car parked near ours. Please please let me know if you found it. It’s special and important to me
