What could be wrong with me based on my symptoms

I started having weakness in both legs after a workout Aug 4th. 2 days later my left leg felt better. Monday I woke up with weakness in both legs and both arms. My skin is not as sensitive to touch (all over my body). My saddle area is somewhat numb (I can still hold my bodily functions. Mostly lost feeling inl my inner thighs and bottom and the urge to pee isn't as strong as it normally is). I went to the ER yesterday and was admitted to the hospital. They did blood work and it was all good. They did a brain CT and that was fine. They did an MRI for my head/cervival/lower back/thoratic and it showed mild Multilevel disc osteophyte, which they say wouldn't be the cause of my symptoms. They did a spinal tap and that ruled out Guillen Barre. At this point I'm freaking out because I don't know what else it could be.

I know the mri showed it's not cauda equina. And I shouldn't be googling things but I saw that sometimes an mri misses cauda equina because the lying mri doesnt show the issue...that sometimes a standing mri can show the disk issue because sometimes the issue is only present when standing. They don't have a standing MRI here in the hospital. I'm scared that it could be cauda equina and if it's not fixed right away that it could lead to permanent paralysis. I don't know what to do. I'm so scared.

I don't know what else it could be. I just feel like since it happened right after lunges/hip opener exercises that it has to be something I hurt. I just don't know how it would also cause my skin to not be as sensitive. I don't know what else it could be. If anyone has any advice, thoughts, or words of comfort, I would appreciate. I just can't imagine still wanting to live if I lose control of my legs and my bowels. I'm just so scared.

Guillan Barre: how to get diagnosed and start treatment

Hi. I think i have this condition but no doctor seems to want to help. I started feeling weakness in my feet August 4th. Then it progressed to one leg. This past Sunday it turned into weakness in both legs and now it's also in my arms. I can still walk but it's difficult. I also have very little feeling in my groin area. Normally when I have to pee, the urge is super strong. Now it's barely there. I've lost all sense of touch. I bite and scratch myself and can't feel it.

I can't feel the bottom of my feet. My boyfriend touched my shoulder and it feels numb. I had a really bad case of the flu about 3 weeks before this started. No pain. I've been to the ER twice and they would only do an mri of my lower back and blood work. Nothing showed up. I read that a spinal tap is needed. How can I get a doctor to order this. My neurologist said he doesn't know what it could be and wants me to go to a research hospital. I called the research hospital he recommended and they don't have an opening until late October. I went to catch this and start some sort of treatment before it gets worse. Right now I can walk but it's difficult. Any advice would be appreciated.

Started with upper back pain and now it's just weakness

Hi,

I'm hoping I can get some insight from anyone who has experienced something like what I'm experiencing. Last Tuesday I went to the gym. I did 1 set, 10 reps of one stretching exercise for my hips. And I did 5 side lunges with a kettlebell. I decided to stop simply because I had a spin class in 30 min. Everything felt fine when I did the exercises. I sat down in a chair for 25 minutes with my legs crossed. When I got up to head to my class my legs felt really weird. I tried to walk it off but by the time I got to the class I knew something was wrong. This wasn't normal soreness. So I decided to go home.

Driving felt weird. When I pushed the break pedal, my ankle/foot area felt really weak. I tried to move around to keep the blood flowing. Later that night I went to the ER and all they did was physically look at my legs and and take blood work. The doctor had me push my legs against his hands. They said it was probably just muscle fatigue. . I woke up Tuesday and my left leg felt better but my right one still felt weak (not as weak as Tuesday). By Thursday my left leg felt completely normal. My left leg stayed the same. I woke up yesterday morning and both my legs felt weak (even weaker than Tuesday). And my left hand was weak.

I went to my neurologist yesterday and he has no clue about what's going on. Last year I had a brain/cervical spine MRI because I had right hand weakness. I was diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy and the doctor found a benign cyst in my brain that be thinks i was born with. He said there were no signs of MS. I went to physical therapy. I've been doing the exercises for 4 weeks and nothing. It feels like my right hand is permanently weak. I was learning to live with it. With these new Symtoms, the doctor is going to do a new mri on my brain/spine. I'm concerned about the left hand weakness and left leg weakness being permanent. I went to the ER today to see if they would do an mri on lower back. I had to lie and say I had back pain for them to do it. They MRI showed nothing.

I'm freaking out. I don't know what else it could be. My doctor ruled out MS but I'm no longer sure. Does anyone have any ideas what else it could be? Would lack of vitamin b12 cause this? It just seems strange that it happened after I worked out and the left leg got better but then got worse and now my left hand is weak so I don't know. I haven't been able to sleep. I'm so scared and I just want answers. If anyone can help please help. I don't know what to do. My boyfriend thinks it might be stress but I don't think that's it. Please help.
