**LOOKING FOR CREW — PASSION FILM**
I’m putting together my **first short film** and looking for a small crew who wants to help bring a raw, creative concept to life. This is a **no-budget passion project** — crew will be fed, but unfortunately there isn’t pay at this stage.
The story follows a young Black tomboy who rides her bike around town collecting scrap from a junkyard and selling it for whatever she can get. She uses the little money she makes to keep a cheap motel room while trying to survive as a starving artist.
She writes poetry, plays guitar, collects vinyl, and constantly searches for opportunities to perform her music. Her motel room becomes her little creative world — messy, intimate, and filled with the things that keep her going.
I want this to feel **70s-inspired but set in modern times** — gritty, soulful, poetic, and character-driven.
**Gear I currently have:**
Blackmagic 4K
Gimbal
Tripod
iPhone 17 as secondary camera
Anamorphic lens
Wireless mics

This is my first film, and the goal is to package the finished short as a strong proof-of-concept to eventually pursue **investors and funding for a larger project.**
