Starting an application in Sydney/Australia

My partners grandfather is Croatian and emigrated before the 90’s to Australia. I believe he is eligible through Article 11.

I’m looking for guidance with how to start this process. Neither of us reads Croatian so finding the forms is tricky especially when you cant read them.

His grandfather is now deceased and we have no contact with his late wife so I am unable to ask for his birth certificate/baptismal records/emigration papers.

Can someone who has been through the Australian process hold my hand a little bit to start off the process. I would massively appreciate it!

Yamaha p-200 playing too fast

I’m sure you’ve seen this post 1000 times but here we go again.

My Yamaha p-200 is playing too fast and I don’t know enough to diagnose it myself.

I do have someone I can take it to be serviced if needed but I’d like to get better at repairing my own gear.

Last time I and it serviced he stuck my mat down with double sided tape because it was “slipping” although it’s not very grippy on top where the vinyl sits.

Secondly, I have tried to change the speed via the trim pot. It’s a top down screw so it’s hard to adjust the speed while something is playing because to my best knowledge you have to completely remove the platter to do so.

I think it may also be shorting out? When I adjust the trim pot because I’m not using a plastic coated screw driver.

Go easy on me I love vinyl and I’m desperate to be a better audiophile.

How do I learn to STFU?

I’m (23,f) a chronic over shared and have been my whole life. It has never really been a problem until I started my first job out of university and now I realise that I have no idea how to shut the fuck up.

Context: yesterday at work it became very apparent that I was being compared to an ex employee that people don’t like very much because he overshares and talks too much. While it was subtle at first eventually my boss spoke to me privately about being more professional at work.

I have since realised I have overshared and over talked to just about everyone in my entire life and I may not be a very good listener.

How do I fix this? How do I learn that I don’t need to share every thing that I’m thinking and I can exist quietly and normally?

I’m not sad that I’ve come to this realisation because I know it will improve my life but I am worried that if I don’t fix it now it’ll ruin my very corporate career with which I also love.

How do I detangle it - crash out

Hey gangsters,

I’m crashing out! I wash my hair with “thin hair friendly” shampoo and conditioner but my hair is curly/wavy so no matter what I do it’s tangle by the time I get out of the shower.

I use a leave in conditioner because of this but it means I’m washing my hair every single day because it gets greasy over night/ throughout the day.

I swear I’m using minimal product but it feels like no matter what I’m greasy and tangled.

I’m in Australia and I’m desperate for advice because I can’t keep living this way 😭
