Do you feel safe walking alone when it's dark in your area?

I know answers will vary depending on male/female responses as I appreciate women probably feel more at threat. I generally feel safe in my area, crime is pretty low compared to other parts of the UK but is definitely on the rise.

If i'm walking behind a lone female i'll always try to cross the road or slow down my walk if that isn't possible.

What about your area, do you feel safe walking alone in the dark?

What's the worst thing you have ever witnessed?

I'm 35 and can honestly say the worst thing I have ever witnessed is probably a fist fight (I wasn't involved). I know a lot of bad things happen daily, so consider myself quite fortunate that's the worst thing I've ever been present for.

Samsung WW90J5456FC/EU help (washing machine)

Hey, would be grateful for any help. Basically a seal has come off my samsung washing machine, it was coming off more after each wash and i started finding bits of it in my washing.

It's now making a massive squeeling noise when washing. Is this something I can fix myself? I will attach a photo.

Does the Tapo app work on a macbook m5 for anyone else?

Hi,

I know its not designed for mac, but I had it installed on my M3 macbook air just fine. I have now updated to a macbook pro m5 and the thing just crashes and won't load at all.

Does anyone else have a macbook with an M5 chip they could possibly test with or let me know if it's working for you?

Can anyone please help troubleshoot on an M5 macbook?

Hey,

I am on a macbook pro (m5) and it will not run the tapo app properly. It just crashes constantly. It works fine on my M3 macbook air. Using the exact same version of the tapo app.

If anyone is using an M5, could you test to see if the app loads/runs fine for you? Any help appreciated. Thank you

How often do you check your bank balance?

Went to the cinema today and there was an advert come on before the film for Starling bank (i think) and something about how they advise you to check your bank balance often so it's not as scary when you only check it after so long (something along those lines).

Is it really an issue though? I get notifications each time i spend and regularly check my balance so i'm aware of what's going out and coming in.

I guess my question is, how often do you actually check your bank balance?

Why do the majority of shops now ask for a donation when buying by card?

It seems to be everywhere you go now, I have known places do this before but now it feels like literally everywhere. LIDL, The chemist, co-op. The worker(s) tell you before paying about it to press the button for ''no'' so they must be completely fed up of it as well.

I already donate to the WWF and surely anyone who would like to donate to a charity will do so of their own free will?
