Mediacom 5Gb

So Mediacom now offers 5Gb Internet the uploads , However, is only 1Gb and it only has a 1TB upload you can only use 35 GB a day before you’re throttled

I get they’re trying to compete with Metronet, Google, Fiber, Windstream Fiber
But I have to ask. Why not go all the way fiber and just slowly replace the coax to actually compete? Yes, I know they’re doing it a new deployment but what about all the existing coax that needs to be replaced?

Visible 5G Router

Hello, I have the Visible 5G router Foxconn FWF100V5L I have been comparing it too ASK NCM 1100. The Verizon proper must have better antennas in it. It seems like I get much better speeds and the responsiveness of the service is much faster however it is also more expensive.

If Visible is supposed to be better for cheap cheaper, they need to get a better Router

I’m in agreement with my fellow Iowans post on here. We need a change. I am ready to “shake the status quo in Iowa, Iowa 10 years of one party like he said in the interview is enough.
I’m a disabled man in my 40s and I believe it’s time for assets on the disabled to be risen to reflect the higher cost of living. I want to continue to work as much as I can, but I have to contend with that “asset limit“ that doesn’t really keep pace with living

Verizon Home Internet in Bridge mode

Hi, has anybody have an issue with the Verizon 5G home Internet, where the modem is operated in Bridge mode connected to another router where every so often it will grab a new IP address thereby knocking out the connection momentarily?

I’m about 1.5 miles from the Verizon Tower and they said my signal is moderate
So I’m not sure if it’s a bug with their modem or what I don’t seem to recall this much trouble when I had Verizon proper Internet

I plan to move in December to a apartment that is 4 blocks away from where I currently live. I'm wondering how do I let Visible know I am moving? Do I really have to reorder and throwaway a gateway just to move 4 blocks? Im in a 9000 person town so im most likly on the exact same tower i am now
