Honestly not a big watch guy but I took some time researching this watch and finally settled on one for every day wear. Super happy with this purchase.

I came across some extended charging handles with a latch that I had never seen before. It sparked my curiosity as it looked like a pretty rudimentary job as if someone just took an angle grinder and files to some flat metal make them fit.
After sharing the examples with a couple of other's with a vast amount of knowledge they informed that they were in-house made charging handles from NSWC Crane.
With that information I did a bit more googling and came across an NSWC Crane powerpoint from 2007 that showed a small image of the charging handle within one of their slide.

Figured some other users would enjoy this bit of knowledge as well.
A buddy of mine picked up a steel frame M1823. Holy hell it makes my polymer M17 feel like a toy. Makes me want one as well but I can’t justify the purchase.
Threw my slide on it in the second slide.
