I’m struggling to think of this movie I had on a pirated dvd in the back of my moms old ass van

It was a dog movie “golden fur im 93% sure” and the kid who gets the dog goes on a road trip and they put the dog in a dog hotel. And then the dog ran away from the hotel to chance after his owner.

I remember I think there was some landlord lady who was mean.
THE DOG COULD NOT TALK.
It might be one of those straight to dvd Disney movies from that era.
I remember a the dog road a train at one point, maybe with a hobo?

Please help me! It’s been itching at me all day
