Hello , I’ve bought a 2013 pro4x it was fine , drove everywhere with 4h 4lo etc two days no issue both on and off road , then I got in some mud and had to push it harder for like 15 minutes , rev at 5000rpm , water started to raise , I turned around and went home , in few minutes I had to do a small uphill like 1/4 mile long nothing serious 4h 2nd gear did it no issues at 3000 rpm , water started to raise again.
I let it cool off and drove home , today I was going on nice road , a little hill elevation about 300-400 feet in about 3 miles , water started to raise again , I had it in dealership and they did the computer check , everything is fine , no visual leaks anywhere , what can be the issue ? The heater core inlet is plastic but don’t seem to leak

Hello I have an option either 2014 xterra pro4x, friend has it for 4 years therefore more or less known issues and fixes 200k km on it or 2006 Land Cruiser 105 4.2l diesel (1hz) with 500k km on it 105 costs 2k usd more
Which one would be more reliable and capable option ?

Greetings everyone, I have a tuff choice to make.
I come from a small country , recently import of 2020 or older vehicles go prohibited so all old especially off road capable vehicles sky rocketed in price.
Here’s my needs , drive daily , mild off-road , visiting remote places in the mountains, hunting.
Looking at spending 10-14k USD
Here’s the options 13k for Land Cruiser 105 4.2 diesel, manual , all of them are ex BP cars and have 500k+ km on them to have a safe approximate.
12k for 120prado 5L-E about 350km on it
13-14k for 120 prado 1kzt or d4d around 400km
3rd gen 4Runner 7-9k$ ( would have budget for great upgrades)
100 series lc with 4.7l petrol with questionable mileage and probably been rented out for tourists mileage on these probably biggest mystery , 12-15k$
Lx470 also same as lc100
Gx470 also same story.
I want to buy a car that I can have for many years , don’t mind spending some after time to fix it but the main thing is reliability, for my past two cars I couldn’t get out from broken parts never ending, I’ve spent the amount fixing or more then what I paid for them so from those options what’s the most reliable safe bet.
