I’m looking into online psychiatry in Texas and trying to understand how the process works before scheduling.

I’m mainly looking for virtual appointments with an online psychiatrist who accepts insurance. I may need a psychiatric evaluation and medication management for ADHD, anxiety, depression, or related concerns.

For people who have used telehealth psychiatry, was it easy to schedule follow-up visits? Did you feel like the provider had enough time to understand your situation? Also, if medication was appropriate, were prescriptions sent to your regular pharmacy?

I’m not looking for medical advice. I just want to know what questions to ask before choosing a provider.

At my last job we ran everything through Traackr for almost two years, so i got to know the platform inside out, the good and the annoying. Just started a new role and the team is about to sign with Traackr again by end of the month, and before i nod along i want to challenge the choice properly.

This is the part that messes with my head. If it’s stored at a depository under a custodian, does it still feel worth it vs owning at home outside the IRA? Would love to hear from anyone who’s done both.
