Can foreigners attend Korean university festivals?
Hi everyone!
I'm going to be in Seoul this May and I just saw that a lot of my favorite K-pop groups/idols are performing at university festivals on the 14th-16th. I'm super excited but I have no idea how this works
I'm not Korean and I'm obviously not a student at any university there. I'll just be visiting. So I have a few questions:
- Can non-students/foreigners attend university festivals in Korea? Is it open to the public or strictly for students only?
- Do you need tickets? If yes, where do you buy them? Online, at the door?
- Where can I check the lineup/time schedule? Do unis post it on Instagram, a website, or somewhere else?
- Is it first-come-first-served with a line, or do you need to reserve?
- Any tips for solo foreigners going? I'll be alone so if anyone in Seoul is also planning to go and wants to meet up, Imk!
The specific schools I saw are soongsil, yonsei and Hongik
Thank you so much in advance!
