Over Political Roommate

Warning this post may trigger politically minded people and this post has nothing to do with politics. Now with that being said, my roommate can not for whatever reason keep his mouth shut or not stir ever single conversation or statement into some Anti Trump rant and I am at the point of looking for some where else to live.

With him all roads lead to Politics even when it has nothing to do with the subject. Recently I have been sick due to an extreme weather change, my body feels a kin to Jet Lag. If you have never suffered from this you know how crappie it can feel. As I was trying to explain it, I used the example of international business people and diplomats used to experience it and it was just something you had to soldier through.

I swear he was just waiting to jump in to say it was Trumps fault and that is why I was sick. Now you could be talking about scrambled eggs and some how or another Politics are involved. Not fluffy enough, well because Ice keeps rounding up immigrants and Trans people so that is effecting chickens! No joking that is one of his statements. Our other roommate left b.c. he bothered his GF cause she is from a red state.

On the verge of knocking him out or leaving, ignoring doesn't really work cause his father is our land lord. Thought about talking to him about his son but I am not sure if it will work.

AIO being angry with my "Helpful" House mate

As I stated in the title my house mate is always tries to "help" with things I never ask for. For context two months into my new living environment, rent is reasonable, and I am relatively close to shops and the bus to the college I'm enrolling at. But tonight was a issue for me, I bought dinner for myself placed it in the refrigerator (my shelf). While I am on the phone he informs me not only moved my food, took it our of the bag rearranged it and put it back.

I asked why and all he said was, he was just trying to be helpful. Now it was not all over the place, nothing leaking, no foul smells he just wanted to rearrange it. He is in his mid 70s, his youngest unemployed daughter and her son live here. So I stay quiet and keep to myself but this really pissed me off.

When I first moved in I explained that for the last three years I have been homeless, in out of shelters SLE's and two sints in Rehab and Recovery. He just doesn't get the idea of Personal Property. AIO assuming it is invasion of privacy?

Big Goof

(From The tales of The Cops Came Showed Up Again)

I live in a troubled/toxic Sober living. And my roommate who I share a bedroom with is one giant, foil smelling man child goof! Due to laziness/an operation he spends every day parked in the living room sleeping, than inhales doordash take, and gets upset when asked to do any tasks that might require him to get off his rump, like bathing. Grumbles when the nurse's come to do his exercises because they want him mobile and not just sitting on his butt all day. And really gripes because the house decided we are no longer allowing him to use his PISS JAR in the living room.

Which he deems as a hostile environment, to top everything off he smells, bad! So much so that I leave the windows open all night just for fresh air and try to be asleep an hour before he comes in here. I am just trying to remain sane and not get kicked out before my funds come in to move.

I am passed being nice, passed the polite suggestions, it's clear to me some people are perfectly happy living in filth. But keeping my head is hard. Anyone just biding their time?
