I used to like Gumball season 1 and got early 00s vibes watching it! But now…..

It doesn’t really hold up very well, that is mostly due to the characters acting like idiots to appeal to the latest 2010s cartoons like Fanboy and Chum Chum, Planet Sheen, and Breadwinners. Gumball especially, while he is supposed to be stupid but in episodes like “The Genius” where he doesn’t know how to turn the computer on or how to read really like emphasizing the fact that they were trying to make him as stupid as possible and don’t even get me started on episodes like “The Picnic” and “The Goons”. At the very best, all the characters are just to bland and don’t have much of personalities like Anais, she was just the smart girl, Richard was just “the fat lazy husband who acts like a child” (i hate this version of Richard by the way. Go watch “The Laziest” to see why I hated this version of him)

The jokes were also pretty unfunny and didn’t make me laugh as much as the later seasons and the tone all felt like it was playing it all too safe with very little adult humor.

While the animation is the one thing I like about Season 1 due to it being more expressive, but they can get a little too over the top and can get pretty weird.

I’ll admit there are a few episodes I like from that season like “The DVD”, “The Responsible”, “The Spoon (despite the stupidity of Gumball and Darwin)”, “The Painting”, “The Helmet”, “The Ape” and “The Sock”

I always thought that these scuba diving enemies were starfishes, but they definitely seem bird like!

I noticed that these levels have similarities (plot wise)

Both level have things made by the NPCs that live in their worlds coming to life and you are required to kill then so you can progress further into the level

If you had an idea for an additional world in each homeworld, what would the level be called?

Add some a little bit of Spyro 2 enemies to make the level have a bit of identity while you can still have Gnorcs in the level too

Went to rewatch this show recently and realized that it is a lot more mean spirited than I remember it being.

Spooky Swamp should’ve had a enemy where you had to knock them down to the water so they can get eaten by piranhas

For the enemy I was thinking pink ducks from Sunny beach making a return and maybe holding a tool that is more fitted for a swamp theme.

This episode to me predicts AI in a way.

The episode relies on Foster’s residents (including Bloo because of course) liking that the scribbles can be so helpful, but as the episode progresses they suddenly become lazy relying on scribbles to do the work for them.

People right now uses ChatGPT and other ai tools to do homework, write essays and do everything for them and not putting in effort.

If Master Chef made a return in Spyro 3 as another miniboss what level would he be in (Seashell Shore already has Bluto)?

I recently an idea for a Foster’s episode just came up in my mind!

It was basically about a new resident literally named “Couch Potato” and all he does is just laze around on the couch not doing anything but watching tv and taking advantage of everybody (especially Wilt and Frankie), I know Bloo would be great friends with him meanwhile Eduardo will repeatedly try to eat him because you know he really likes Potatoes.

The episode would be Imposter’s Home For Umm Make Em Up Pals done correctly with the ending being Eduardo literally eating Couch Potato as a punishment. Dark ending but pretty satisfying

I always wondered what did Wilt do to get the Foster’s residents banned? The only things we know is that it involves jellyfishes and sand.

What I like most about episodes of Foster’s…

In the first 4 seasons, I like where everything starts off relatively normal but things just start getting crazier and crazier. Like Store Wars, Frankie My Dear, Neighbor Pains, Crime After Crime, Room With A Feud, Big Cheese. That is when Foster’s is at its best. The last 2 seasons don’t have that kind of charm to it, the only episodes that seem to have that charm is Cheese A Go Go (as much as the backlash it kinda has, though not as much as the goofball or surprise episode), Buck Swaps Here and Nightmare On Wilson Way.
