AMD officially lifted the curtain on the flagship Instinct MI455X. The memory bandwidth jumped from earlier target estimateswhich sat around ~19.6 TB/s up to 23.3 TB/s.

I was using ROCm 7.2, and in comfyui it used to take 90+ seconds to generate 1 image with Krea 2 turbo.

I just installed ROCm 7.14.0, now it takes 30-50 seconds.

Kernel 7.0 boosted 20% PP performance in LLMs.

I am wonderting if 7.1 brings another 5-10%

That would make strix halo even more competitive vs GB10 from Nvidia
