Can MAOIs help with issues caused by SSRIs and SNRIs?

Has anyone here experienced persistent symptoms—such as anhedonia, no feelings, muscle spasms, internal akathisia—caused by SSRIs or SNRIs, and found relief for these issues by using an MAOI?

SSRIs and SNRIs caused me several problems: a loss of sensation, no feelings, tension in muscles throughout my entire body, internal agitation, chronic fatigue, and anhedonia.

would you think that MAOI can help with that?

I want to try Cyproheptadine, but it isn't sold in my country. How can I get it?

I live in Sweden, and this medication is neither available nor sold here. How can I buy it? Is there any other way to get it?

PSSD. face shape changes, and akathesia, dystonia like symtoms

Because of ssri/snris medications and withdrawal from them, I developed many symptoms. One of the most disabling is a constant feeling of internal agitation and what feels like internal akathisia, but without the need to pace or keep walking. I also experience symptoms that resemble dystonia.

My entire body feels extremely stiff and tight all the time. It feels like all of my muscles are continuously contracting, almost as if I have dystonia, although there are no obvious abnormal movements that other people can see. I can only feel it internally. and I've also noticed whenever I try to engage in any mental activity—such as reading something, writing on my keyboard, or typing on my phone—the feeling of internal agitation becomes significantly worse. At the same time, the intense muscle tension throughout my body also increases.

I constantly feel as if my jaw is pulled backward and slightly to the right, even though it doesn't appear visibly misaligned to other people. My whole head feels extremely tight. When I touch my skull, it feels as if everything is under constant tension. My jaw is also very tight. and I dont know if this is the cause of the change of my face and nake shape and why its so shrunk and thin. my face look smaller than it used to be even my neck. I feel like my neck is bent and my face is melting and losing volume. I wonder if this is caused by the constant muscle tension or by a nervous system that is permanently stuck in a hyperaroused state, but I honestly don't know. I also suffer from severe anhedonia, ignificant problems with concentration. chronic fatigue, and the typical symptoms of PSSD.

I did all the blod test and nothing abnormal.

the MRI results for my brain and back came back, and they're normal. There's nothing abnormal.

I feel desperate and I'm willing to try almost any medication that might help my condition or at least keep my head above water.

I'm trying to understand what treatment options might be available in a situation like this?

To those who have tried Keto for the neurological symptoms of PSSD

I have PSSD, and the worst symptoms are depression, anhedonia, and akathisia like symtoms, I feel internal agitation and an inability to relax, and I have dystonia like symtoms like a strong tightening of all the parts of my body, especially the neck and head.

My question is for those who have tried keto.

I started the keto diet 17 days ago. I experienced the keto flu during the first few days, and it has gradually started to subside, but I still don't feel well.

My agitation, muscle spasms, and the constant feeling of inner body tension have gotten worse. I also feel more fatigued, my face looks paler than usual, and my depression has become much worse.

The only thing I've noticed a slight improvement in is my anxiety, especially while walking. However, I still feel much more exhausted, and my depression feels deeper than before.

Should I keep going and give my body more time to adapt, or does this suggest that keto just isn't the right diet for me?

Changes in shape, fat, and muscle in the face and body

This change in the size of the face and neck, and the distribution of fat and muscle tissue, can sometimes be exacerbated by supplements, vitamins, or certain foods.
I feel like my neck is bent and my face is melting and losing volume. My jaw is pulled back, giving the impression that my face is very smaller from below. In addition to general fatigue, a feeling of muscle weakness that have weak inability to lift the body.

I'm not looking for medical advice, but any hypotheses about the cause of this condition?

face has shrunk and become so thin, and my neck too. Why?

I couldn't find an answer in the PSSD group, so I'll try here. But my symptoms are very similar to PFS.

I just want to know why my face has shrunk and become so thin, like a tube, and my neck too. Why is there such intense tension in all the muscles of my body, as if it's about to explode? I've noticed this happens more and became sever when I want to write something or continue reading something in my phone or computer. There's something wrong with the way my brain works.

I did all the blod test and nothing abnormal.

Today the MRI results for my brain and back came back, and they're normal. There's nothing abnormal.

My symptoms are completely abnormal, but my tests are perfectly normal. If only I knew what's happening to my body and why? Is there anyone here who has good knowledge of these and can explain why this is happening?

Purchasing Ketotifen from another country

I live in Sweden, and here the medication Ketotifen is discontinued (avregistrerat), so I can’t buy it. There are only eye drops available. My question is: how can I buy this medication? Is there a way to purchase it online from a trustworthy source?
