Back home and decided to try and look for my old tins of pokemon cards. Ended up finding these unique P1 helmets instead and my Commander Fox (been looking for it for the past 2 years and I find the helmet and body within 5 minutes of each other in different areas of the house lol)

A very long time ago my parents used to buy me set 8014 so I could assemble a clone army and when I saw these out of the bag I remember being so disappointed and casting them away.

Thought maybe it would be an interesting post considering I have two with a very similar misprint. Not familiar with Legos anymore so not entirely sure if these are considered “rare” or not.

Now that I’m older I can appreciate them more and realize how cool they truly are. Really surprised I didn’t color them with sharpies as a test subject cause a lot of my clones are “custom” now lol.

Microsoft Windows Search Indexer is causing my CPU temps to spike on idle

Hi, I believe I’m currently experiencing an issue where on idle Microsoft Windows Search Indexer is causing my CPU temps to spike constantly. Last week I had a drivers issue where I had to use DDU to clear the graphics cache which fixed my stuttering issue and actually lowered my cpu temps as well. During this time my idle temps were constantly in the low 40C and never spiked above mid 50C. Yesterday all of a sudden my idle CPU temp is spiking and I believe Microsoft Windows Search Indexer is the culprit.

Essentially:

- my CPU load will drop to 3-6% and sit at a temp around the low 40C

- 5 seconds later in Task Manager Microsoft Windows Search Indexer will activate bring my CPU usage by ~6.2% with a CPU load to around 25% raising my CPU temps to somewhere in the low the mid 60C, then drop after a fee seconds.

- Once it falls back to the normal CPU load of 3-4% it’ll rise back up and this process happens over and over again.

My question is what should I do in this situation? I’m not very tech savvy so this is all new to me. From what I’ve seen online search indexing is stuck on a file so it keeps on boosting to resolve the issue, but it can’t so it does this over and over again. I’m planning on using the guide attached to hopefully resolve this issue.

Currently Indexing options states that I have 1,185,489 items indexed. This is a lot from what I’ve seen online and the only read as to why I think it’s this high is because of in one of my games, Football Manager 26, I downloaded face packs which has at least 30-50gbs of images of real players and badges. In order to stop this many items from indexing should I exclude this file from the indexing search option? I’d imagine it’ll lessen the load as it won’t search my huge folders that don’t contain any malware and will reduce my total items indexed by a ton?

If anyone can provide me some insight on this issue that would amazing. Thanks.

Are Amazon bumps the way to go?

I understand that this is an NVG sub, but bump helmets seem like a pretty common topic here so l figured I might as well ask for some advice from people that have experience before I commit to my first setup.

I'm currently in the market for a bump helmet to larp in. Not for NVG use at the moment, but maybe in the future I'll get there.

From what I've seen the way to go is an FMA Ops core from Amazon and then gut the internals with a TW CAM Fit and 4D pads. In total this would cost roughly $350 in total. Is this really the way to go or would getting a secondhand TW LTP Bump be better? A second hand TW LTP bump and buying 4D pads would cost maybe $50-$100 more than the Amazon setup. I’m mainly concerned that the TW CAM Fit and the FMA bump won’t be plug and play and then I’m scrambling to find a solution. Really don’t want play around in order to find a way to connect everything when I can just get something that’s slightly more expensive and is ready to go.

TW Carbon is on the table as well, just don’t know what a good second hand price would be on one depending on the gen.

If anyone could let me know their experience with an Amazon bump or TW bump that would be great. Thanks.

Most “meta” armor set post Iceborne for Long Sword?

I’ve just completed the final boss in Iceborne. Now that I’ve unlocked the Guiding Lands are there any specific monsters I should target to achieve the most “meta” gear post Iceborne pre-Raging Brachydios for LS?

Currently I’m using Teostra B+ helm, arms, and waist with a Wyvern Blade “Blossom”+. From what I saw online three pieces of Teostra gear is essential so I’m not really sure what to fill it the rest out.

My decos aren’t great currently, but I plan on farming for some soon.

Push Unite or CRBN for outdoors?

Looking to potentially upgrade from my Dye i5. Seems like Push Unite and CRBN are the best masks on the market currently. Which in your experience do you like more when playing outdoors?

I like the Push Unite as it seems to have a slim profile so I can get a tighter cheek weld, but I heard breathability isn’t the best. The CRBN also seems great, but it’s a pretty big in size and bbs can potentially pass through the gaps in the front which concerns me.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Kimmich or Dumfries as a Play-Making Wingback?

Switching over to a 4231 and I want to try out the Play-Making Wingback role in FM26.

There really aren’t any young world beater RBs in the save yet imo and both of these two are now available.

Kimmich has great passing stats, amazing mentals and has fitness attributes that allow him to play forever in saves. The downside is that he’s not the quickest and I’d imagine his already lowish physically stats will most likely start to regress quickly since he’s 33.

Dumfries on the other hand has insane physicals for a RB. He’s rapid, probably one of the strongest defensive players in the game and is basically a striker playing OOP. The downsides to him is that he’s clearly not amazing technically or mentally like Kimmich and I feel like once he ages he’ll lose his physically rapidly which makes him the player he is.

For the Play-Making Winger role I think either would be a fantastic signing regardless of their age.

If you’ve used either how did you like them and as the years went by how did they progress? I haven’t played a long FM26 save yet so I’m unsure how players regress as they age if it’s changed at all. I’d like to get one of them, but both look really good so I’m unsure which to choose.

Is it possible to sign young star players in the Saudi League at normal wages?

When the season is over my board is planning on providing the club with a massive transfer budget.

With this transfer budget increase I really want to bring in a world beater. I plan on switching to a 4231 so I’m looking for either a world class 10 or a 6.

My realistic options are either Olise or Caicedo. Both have a release clause for around $130m. I prefer Olise, but the issue is he’s with Al-Hilal in the Saudi league so he’s on big big wages, around $75.4m - $95.29m per season.

When I reach out to his agent he’s demanding around $100m per season which is absolutely insane. Is there anything I can do to make him want normal player wages to get him back in Europe? I’m in February right now so I was thinking maybe when the summer window open maybe he’ll be more keen on the move and demand less money? Not sure if that’ll change anything or if there’s anything I can do to make this transfer happen.

What to do when a player requests an insane salary increase?

In my FM26 save Saka is arguably the best right winger in the world. I lost a title clinching match to Liverpool and now his agent requests that due to his recent performances he deserves a raise.

I’m all for paying my guys, but after entering negotiations his agent wants me to almost double his salary! ($790,961.54 per week or €680,226.92 per week)

This is a massive pay raise and while I could probably afford it, the new contract would most likely destroy my wage structure. I don’t think anyone on the team makes above $25,000,000 USD annually.

Can I just ignore it and he’ll get over it or is this something that will unfortunately stick around with Saka/his agent for the rest of my save? He’s still under contract for four more years so I’m assuming I can just ignore his agent for now.
