Picked up a USP9 to go with the .45 today, just need the .40 now. The m2 will go on the .45 once I get a led bulb for it. Have an adapter on the way so I can mount an x300 on the 9. Also if anyone has a photos of USPs in use with aus sasr please send them my way. I’m building a clone of the m4a5 and would like to do the same with the USP.
Recently picked up this f250 from carmax west El Paso. Traded in my 2021 tundra for it. Was offered 30k by carvana and then 44k by carmax. Was surprised at the offer so I went in and they said my truck had come back as a higher trim level so they adjusted the offer to 34.6k. I was still happy with that offer so I went home and had my new truck shipped from east Texas, after seven days the new truck still wasn’t here so I went in to sell it as I didn’t want to lose the offer. I was told that since I ordered the new truck they would still re appraise my trade in but honor the first offer so I wasn’t without a vehicle for a few days. New truck came in and the re appraisal dropped to 32.4 but they did honor the first appraisal. Overall it was a great experience to not have a salesperson try to upsell me another vehicle or get me to buy some crazy warranty plan, will 100% be going to carmax again for any more vehicle purchases.
Is there a way to get onto the roof? The ladder is just out of reach, I’m thinking it’s an unfinished part of the game because I had to jump off the top level walkway onto a ledge and out the window to access the stairs.
Got a nice mail call today, I was surprised these didn’t sell out immediately. Fit and finish is great and the lock up on the x300 is TIGHT. Would like to find an als type holster that works with the adapter but for now the 610r holster works. Can’t wait to shoot it next week.
Tried to do the dawn rattle can on my brn4 upper, it’s hotter than satans toe nails in my garage so it didn’t work as intended, paint didn’t stick well and the dawn got really runny fast, but I’m not mad about it. It will look even better once it’s worn. I couldn’t rattle can the pd trade in Eotech, looks too well loved for that. Lower is stolen from another build, so once I get a 416 clone lower it’ll get the same treatment.
Question came up in a Facebook group I’m in, can someone help me identify what this device is on the side of the plate carrier? Chatgpt told me it’s a taser but I’m not to confident in that.
