Destroy my announcement trailer: you drive a gun-covered car through the horde. Does the loop read in the first 5 seconds?

Fill up and take out some zombies!

Stop by the gas station to fill up (heal). Might as well toss a match and take out some zombies on your way out!

The only weapon you need in the zombie apocalypse is your car

Working on a co-op zombie apocalypse roguelite called Drive of the Dead. Themed around 90s B rated zombie movie mixed with Twisted Metal. Smashing into the zombies and tossing them through the air cracks me up every time.

My co-op zombie roguelike is going for cheesy 90s horror B-movie meets Twisted Metal

Meet Drive of the Dead. It's a co-op survivor-like where you're driving a car with guns bolted all over it, trying to survive the horde as it gets bigger and meaner. Weapons auto-fire, you level up and grab upgrades, same loop we all know.

The part I care about most is the tone. I want it to feel like one of those terrible/amazing B-rated 90s zombie movies, the kind shot for five bucks over a weekend, but mashed up with Twisted Metal and the roguelike stuff we all lose nights to. Boss intro title cards, cheesy radio chatter, "RATED M FOR MAYHEM," all of that.

I keep going back and forth between, "this is great fun" and "I'm not sure anyone would want to play this". Thoughts on whether I should keep at it?
