Meaning of the Green Circled Symbol in yet another Zombie survivers

Hello, can anyone tell me what this green circled symbol means?

u/Bitter445 — 21 hours ago

I added a werewolf miniboss to my zombie survivors-like, does he fit the apocalypse?

This is Walker, one of the non-zombie minibosses in Drive of the Dead, the co-op survivors-like I’m developing.

I want the apocalypse to include a few threats beyond different varieties of zombies, but I don’t want them to feel disconnected from the setting. Does Walker fit, and does he read clearly as a miniboss from this clip?

Adding more summonable demons to our game

You can hunt down wild demons in the world, capture them, and summon them in combat for a short window.

We'll work on making the summoning more juicy :)

If this looks up your alley, consider wishlisting Devoidant on Steam, as a small team, it really helps us out a ton!

Ground Zero Hero: A Fun Vampire Survivor Like Game About Radiation

This is the closest we will get to Fallout 5 for awhile /s

Any one else playing this? It is a fun, easy to pick up Vampire Survivor type game where your perks are mutations. The best part of it is unlocking bonkers for your moves that have a 1% to do something very powerful.

I like the art style, it feels somewhere between the Simpsons and Rick And Morty. There are lots of nerd references from Castlevania to NBA Jam.

It feels a little light on content but it was only ten dollars. The video is a run of the first map.

You pretty know what you are getting off the bat. There are different aspects like night and day and a bunker to heal. But the bonkers element is the selling point.

Send Them to Hell - Official Trailer

Hello... again!

Three weeks ago I shared our reveal trailer. The response was amazing, but the trailer didn't really show what the game had become, so I went back and made one that does.

Today I've updated the Steam page and uploaded the Official Trailer.

Send Them to Hell isn't trying to be a clone or "Megabonk meets something else." It's a game I've spent countless hours building for players who enjoy games like Megabonk, Vampire Survivors, and Risk of Rain, while still having its own identity.

As a solo developer, this has been a huge journey. I couldn't have done it without the incredibly talented artists who helped create the visuals that brought the game to life.

To everyone from this community who wishlisted the game after my last post, thank you. Your support genuinely helped keep this project moving forward, and I'm excited to finally show you a trailer that represents the game the way it deserves.

In the first comment I will post some promotional artwork so you can see what we've been pouring our heart into.

If you want to Wishlist you can do so HERE

I’m making a survivors-like with an inventory puzzle between waves

Hey! I’m making a survivors-like called Bulgasari.

It’s a Brotato-ish action roguelike where you power up your character by solving a puzzle in your inventory. Instead of just picking upgrades, you collect pieces and try to fit them together into a good build as the run goes on.

The playtest is live now, so I’d really appreciate it if you gave it a try.

A full run currently takes around 15–30 minutes, and the playtest goes up to Wave 15. I’m still not very confident about the balance after Wave 10 though. I’m planning to rework that part pretty heavily later when I add boss battles, so the late-game balance is still pretty rough right now.

It’s still an alpha, so there are definitely going to be bugs, balance issues, and unfinished stuff. If you run into anything weird, or just have thoughts or ideas about the game, please join the Discord and tell me.

There are barely any people in there right now, so don’t feel awkward about jumping in lol. Any kind of feedback or ideas are welcome, and I’d love to put everyone who helped out in the credits later.

I also uploaded a web build on itch.io, so you can play that version if you don’t want to install the Steam build.

There’s still a lot I’m planning to add:

  • New playable characters
  • Boss battles
  • More items
  • Additional difficulty options
  • Save & Continue
  • Controller support
  • Victory & Defeat sequences
  • Improved VFX
  • New gameplay features and systems
  • Achievements
  • More language support
  • Better title screen
  • Better tutorial

So yeah, please give it a try if you have some time. I’d especially like to hear what other survivors-like players think about the inventory system and overall balance.

Arcadium - Space Odyssey: new Bullet Fest update is live, plus 40% off on Steam

Solo dev of Arcadium - Space Odyssey here, a space bullet heaven with a few twists: fight aliens, harvest entire planets, and explore a procedurally generated universe!

The game features quick 12-minute runs, lots of ships with unique abilities, and tons of items, artifacts, talents, relics... UPGRADES :) It plays great on Steam Deck, too.

A new update just dropped with two new ships, and the game is 40% off until the end of Bullet Fest, so it's the best time to grab it for under $5.

We reworked Code of Shadows and made a new trailer. Does this one show it better?

We’ve made quite a few changes to the game, from visuals and gameplay to the overall feel and presentation.

So naturally, we went back and reworked the trailer too.

We also took a lot of the feedback from our previous trailer into account when making this version. We wanted to give a clearer idea of what the game actually feels like to play while keeping some things for you to discover in-game.

If you saw the previous version, does this one do a better job of showing off the game?

We’d genuinely love to hear what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d still change.

Made my first game

I’m finally happy enough with it to show the game off. It’s one of my first attempts at game development; I really just built it to see how far I could get. I know it’s basically a blatant Survivor clone. Anyway, maybe someone would be up for giving it a try—I’d be happy if you did. If not, that’s cool too :D

Ancient Spirits 👻 + Blood Pact 🩸 = Tanky

👻 Ancient Spirits surrounds you with spectral guardians, then sends them hunting when the ultimate kicks in.

🩸 Blood Pact feeds on lifesteal, building a blood ward until all that stored power explodes back into the horde.

I made a survivor game where your army is funded by mining gold

I’ve been working on Miner Survivor, a single-screen survival strategy game where you’re not just fighting enemies — you’re running a mine and building an army at the same time.

I’m a solo indie developer and this has been a long-running project for me. It recently launched on Steam, and I’m continuing to add new mechanics, events, progression and PvP features.

The game play I am using Chinese language but it supported up to 15 languages.

If anyone is interested in giving Miner Survivor a try, feel free to PM me and I’ll be happy to send you a free Steam key.

Need your honest opinion on why my game sucks

I recently released my first game in Early Access and I'm sitting at 55 wishlists. I'd like to figure out what isn't landing — whether it's the store page, the trailer, the concept itself, or just that I did almost no marketing before launch.
Blunt feedback welcome. What would make you scroll past this?

Introducing FKC, our weird survivors-like!

Hi! I'm Unai, and I wanted to share the project I'm working on with my friends, FKC: Fighting Krazy Chickens! and ask the community a couple of questions.

I describe it as a weird survivors-like because it has no auto-attacks. The cool thing about FKC is that you grab your enemies and throw them! Each type of enemy triggers a different attack when thrown, so the enemies basically become your weapons. Kind of a mix between Angry Birds and Boomerang Fu.

It also has a very silly and cute art style, which I think feels quite different from a lot of the survivors-likes I usually see.

Still, it has the typical survivors-like structure: waves of enemies, the more you advance the more numerous and stronger enemies, upgrades that make you increasingly strong, and a lot of importance of positioning.

That's why I'm not sure "survivors-like" alone really describes how the game feels, and I've been calling it an action survivors-like instead.

I though I should ask to the people who actually play these games the most what they think. Does that description make sense to you? And of course, any opinions, feedback or questions you have will be welcomed.

PD: The demo is already out, in case you try want to try it :)
It's been a small launch so far, mainly to gather feedback and keep improving the game.
