its been SOOOOOO LONGGGGGG and FINALLY i'm here... and i'm just beginning. Wow, what a WILD JOURNEY! Godot and many other programs have helped me excell in a stupidly short ammount of time. 1.5 years ago I knew ZERO things about coding, meshes, texturing, games, the fact that you have to tell the computer to do every little tiny thing.

I have a wild, wild youtube series covering the development of this game coming, because this is literally just the beginning. I've spent about a year, handling the modularity of the game to make way for my intense asset generation. I literally just made 42 unique base stat items, all something special, all unique 3dmesh/2dclip art. I FRIGGEN LOVE physical menus!!!

I finally launched it! Void Descent 1.0 is live with a full 3D graphics overhaul, widescreen support, and a lot more

Hey everyone,

​I've posted about my browser game, Void Descent, here a couple of times during development. You guys gave me a really warm reception early on, which kept me motivated to finish this thing.

​The 1.0 release is officially live on Itch. 🙌🏻

​The biggest update is a full 3D graphics overhaul. Every player ship, enemy, weapon and visual effect has been redesigned for high fidelity 3D. I've kept the original 2D look for mobile or anyone who prefers the retro style.

A completely new scoring mechanic has been introduced as well in the form of real time combat rank. As you play you'll be graded on your positioning and aggression while avoiding damage. The cleaner and more precise you fight, the higher your score is multiplied. But be careful, if you take damage or start playing it too safe your rank will suffer.

I've also tackled the largest issue with the PC experience: widescreen is now fully integrated! Along with that comes complete native controller support (also tested and working on ROG Ally - I don't have access to a steam deck though so please let me know how it works!)

My goal was to offer a game that you can play any time on any device with any hardware and 0 installs, and this current experience is one I'm really proud of.

I spent hours rewriting shaders to fix a 24 FPS fill-rate crisis in my dark fantasy survivors-like. Now hitting 300+ FPS and need Android alpha testers!

Hey everyone !

I'm the solo dev behind Spellbound: Survival, an upcoming dark fantasy bullet-hell / survivors-like built for WebGL and mobile. It features the classic formula you know: multiple distinct classes (Mage, Shaman, Martyr, Stormcaller), heavy spell synergies, and massive screen-clearing hordes.

I recently hit a massive wall where stacking ground effects and transparent alpha textures completely tanked the GPU fill-rate during late-game runs, dropping the game down to a painful 24 FPS. I just wrapped up a brutal optimization pass—shifting dynamic particle geometry entirely to GPU vertex shaders and streamlining the post-processing layers. It now runs at 60 to 300+ FPS depending on the device.

To stress-test these performance upgrades, I just deployed two new enemy types to complicate your positioning:

  • Shamans: They drop persistent hazard zones directly under your feet.
  • Rangers: Ranged snipers that target you from the edge of the screen while you manage the melee horde.

The mobile build is officially live on the Google Play Store for Internal Testing, and I need a dedicated squad from this sub to jump in, try to break the balancing, test the layout scaling, and give me raw feedback on the game feel.

Best survivors for an early game challenge ?

Im still new to the genre, really liked VS, specially the early game, figuring, unlocking etc. I died a lot but had a lot of fun !

Since VS, Ive tried a few other survivors but the early game is always too easy to my taste. Soulstone survivor, way too easy, didnt play much. Achille, way too unbalanced and quite easy too. And Yet another zombie survivor, even if it was easy too its the one I had the most fun unlocking new weapons and characters.

Any suggestions ? Need to scratch that itch ! Starting weak, going god !

Kryptvault - pixel arcade roguelike with cursed upgrades. Can you get top score?

Description:

Kryptvault is a small arcade roguelike where the enemies never stop. Waves flow into each other, the walls reshuffle around you, and every level-up deals you three cards. Each one is a trade: more damage but a slower trigger, more speed but thinner skin. If you're feeling brave, there are cursed cards that make you stronger while making the whole crypt meaner.

There are 21 upgrades and 4 evolutions, with no free power. Combine Shotgun and Homing to get the Seeker Swarm, or Pierce and Damage for the Railgun. You can play three classes: a tanky Warrior, a fast Rogue, or a glass-cannon Mage. Bosses rotate between the Charger, the Summoner, and the Spiral. There's a global leaderboard, a portable TAG#0000 identity, and a vault key that logs you in from any machine. A daily challenge gives everyone the same dungeon once a day, and the Vault lets you bank coins between runs for permanent upgrades.

The whole thing is one HTML file. 

Controls: WASD or arrows to move. Aiming is automatic, so your only job is positioning and card choices. P pauses. On mobile, drag to move and tap to pick a card(still a bit buggy).

This is the first stable build, id call it beta - I have more plans to evolve it, but I want more feedback. Already got some from my friends. I want to see how OP or broken builds people can make, whats the max wave people can get - current is W 18. Please be brutal with your feedback. I much appreciate it!

I rebuilt the whip sword skill so it no longer just spins around the player.

I rebuilt the whip sword skill in Oiran Survival.

The old version was a simple spinning motion around the player.

The new version has a fully remade attack motion, 3D model, and effects.

Now the blade bends, snaps, and cuts through the horde like a whip, while still feeling like a sword tearing enemies apart.

Instead of one simple circle, the attack now moves in a more unpredictable path around the player.

The goal was to make the skill feel more alive in the middle of the horde:
a cursed blade moving through the battlefield, cutting enemies from multiple directions before they close in.
