I'm making a "Diablo with Mechs" roguelite and wanted to show my early Robot Boss fight.

Hi, I'm the solo developer for Frame of Suffering - or as I like to call it, my "Diablo with Mechs" game.

I'm heavily developing the game, so a lot of stuff is still bound to change, but I just wanted to show an early boss fight where we can see some mechanics, as well as switching between the Pilot and Mech Suit (Frame). This is one of the core features of my game, in which you progress the pilot and your Frame to create some cool builds and combat styles.

I also have a lot of customization options for the pilot and your Frame - from switching out Frame parts that visually change how the Mech Suit looks, to fully changing the pilot's equipment.

Hopefully, I will manage to prepare a demo sometime at the beginning of next year. In the meantime, if you are interested and want to know a bit more about the game, here is the link to my Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3844300/Frame_of_Suffering/

Diablo with Mechs Roguelite that I'm making. You can fight as a Mech Suit or the Meatbag that is piloting it.

Hi! I'm making my first game.
I'm still heavily developing it, and the game is evolving every day, but I just wanted to share some combat in its current state.

In the game, you will have dual progression for your pilot and your Mech Suit (Frame), so for build crafting and customization enjoyers, it will be a treat!

If you are interested, you can check out the game here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3844300/Frame_of_Suffering/

Yes it's basic, but I've added destructible objects to my Diablo with Mechs Roguelite.

Hello! I'm currently working on my first solo developed game: Frame of Suffering - a mix of Diablo and Armored Core with a touch of Roguelite elements.

Just wanted to quickly share my destructible objects system.

It uses Unreal Engine's Chaos Fracture system to split a mesh into separated parts. Later, the separation is triggered by a sphere trace that gives me the exact location of the impact, to which I apply some radial force to make the destruction more directional.

I can control the strength and other aspects of the destruction via code, so I'm not actually using any physics collisions for this, which gives me a lot more control over what is happening.

If you want to check out my game, you can find it on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3844300/Frame_of_Suffering/

My Diablo with Mechs game just got a melee combat revamp.

Hi, I'm the solo developer of Frame of Suffering a dark scifi ARPG roguelite.

Just wanted to share a bit of the WIP revamp of my melee combat! Each weapon plays differently, so depending on your playstyle, you will have a lot to choose from for your Pilot and Mech Suit.

Before, I had more of a "survivor style" movement where you spent most of your time moving backward. However, I feel that my game is more action oriented, so I have changed it to pure hack and slash action combat with attack combos.

Hope you like it! :)

Diablo with Mechs, but you can switch to the pilot on the fly.

Hello! I'm working on my first solo developed game: Frame of Suffering - a mix of Diablo and Armored Core with a sprinkle of roguelite features.

In the game, you can pilot your own mech suit (Frame) or switch to the pilot on the fly. Each has unique skills and weapons that offer distinct playstyles, opening up a lot of fun build potential.

You can customize your pilot with new armor parts and weapons, and modify your Frame however you want. From swapping the head, torso, arms, and legs to change your visuals and stats, to adding new mech attachments (skills) that visually appear on your Frame.

Items can be found during dungeon runs or crafted from materials.

After leveling up, you can upgrade your stats and skills using the upgrade machines back at your base.

Roguelite features tie into the rewards you earn after defeating large groups of enemies, where you can get extra materials, health, Essence (gold), or temporary stat boosts. Upon death, you lose a portion of the XP and materials collected during that dungeon run.

You clear dungeons by defeating either dungeon gatekeepers (bosses) or special events. There is also a dark narrative with choices that directly impact the story and your character's progression.

If all goes according to plan, I should have a demo ready by the end of this year! :)

I've added a Combat Frame to my Sci-fi ARPG Roguelite game that you can customize like a separate character and switch on the fly.

Hello! I'm the solo developer of "Frame of Suffering", a dark Sci-fi ARPG Roguelite.

I love all things mechs and robots, which is why I’ve decided to add an equippable Combat Frame to the game, featuring separate stats, weapons, and skills.

You will be able to craft or find new Frame parts (arms, legs, torso, and head) that offer different stats and visually transform your Frame. You can also customize your character with various armor parts and weapons, so if you’re a fan of visual customization like I am, you’ll love this!

For the stat lovers, there are plenty of variables to min-max for both your character and your Frame. Since you can switch between them on the fly, it feels like managing two separate characters, allowing for some unique build crafting opportunities.

I just wanted to share this progress. There is still a lot of work ahead, but it's slowly getting there. If things go according to plan, I should be able to release a demo this year, with playtests held before then.

If you’re interested in checking the game out on Steam, here is the link (the teaser and graphic assets are a bit outdated, but I’ll be updating them soon): https://store.steampowered.com/app/3844300/Frame_of_Suffering/

I'm making an Action RPG Roguelite where you can switch between Mech and pilot on the fly. Both of which have different skills and weapon types.

Hi, I'm the solo developer for Temple of Eternal Suffering (name not final).

In my game you can switch between your Mech Suit (Frame) and your character.
Each one of them have their own equipment, skills, weapon types that they can use and even different movement capabilities.

Equipment visually changes how your Frame and character look, as well as impacts a lot of stats - for everyone who likes to min-max their builds, this will be a treat.

Just wanted to share a little bit of gameplay to show how it currently looks like, as I'm still heavily in development, but with hopes of a demo by the end of this year if everything goes according to plan.

If you want to check the game out on Steam, then here is the link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3844300/Temple_of_Eternal_Suffering/

Current Steam assets are a bit outdated right now, but I will be replacing them in the near future :)

Hello! I'm working on my first solo developed game: Temple of Eternal Suffering (name not final), and just wanted to share a little preview of my mech combat.

In the game, you can pilot your own Mech and customize it however you want. I'm still adding a lot of features and new weapon types, but here you can see a multishot shotgun and one of the Boss Mech skills.

The mech will have additional weapon attachments similar to Armored Core, so it will not be limited to just a single weapon, but you will be able to create your own fun builds with weapon attachments that you will find or craft.
