Anything open on a Sunday?

My partner and I have to wait in Sligo for an hour and a half today (until 1pm) and I was thinking "it's fine we'll just get breakfast or lunch while we wait since we haven't eaten"
It seems like nothing at all is open...
There's only a couple super fancy restaurants, or no veggie options that aren't sad salads (we are both vegetarian)

There were two really nice options (shells seaside cafe and cottage cafe) and I was relieved after half an hour of searching on Google, but they're not in Sligo city, they're actually too far out for us to reach them on time 😭

I searched if there's at least market stalls today but apparently the market is only on Saturday.

Is Sligo a completely dead town on a Sunday or is the Internet not showing all the options? I'm quite surprised to be honest.

Pleaseeee does anyone have recommendations of anywhere that does good veggie options or a cafe that does baked warm goods at the very least? We'll be starving otherwise hahah

Rate my Princess boy and his weird shaped pupil

No idea why Peaches' pupil is shaped like that but I personally think it's so cool. Might be biased as I'm his mom tho

Advice for polyamory with BPD

BPD and Polyamory

Since the very first day my partner and I have been dating, I told him that I would have preferred to have a poly relationship. He said he had never tried one but he agreed as he's never been a jealous person and he didn't think he would have a problem with it.
For myself, I had a poly relationship with a past ex, and I was solo dating this other girl. So I never experienced a partner also being in a relationship with someone else. However, when I thought about the idea of it I never thought it would bother me. Actually I was the one pushing my ex to try to go out with other people and even lately I found myself fantasising about being in a triad with my current partner.
That's why I am so utterly confused at how I felt when he came back home from a festival and told me he had met someone.
He told me they kissed which didn't bother me at first as in my head thats a very normal thing to do at a festival. What really destroyed me was knowing he is regularly talking to her and that even if they barely know each other (it's only been a couple weeks) she is already planning to come to our country for them to meet again.
If I were to describe the feeling I felt when he told me how emotionally involved they are, I would describe it like this. TNT attached to my chest and exploding leaving an aching crater behind which makes it physically impossible to breathe. I've felt heartbroken and hurt a billion times before but nothing has ever felt quite so intense and physical.
I told myself this feeling would go away with time so I masked it (last thing I want is to ruin a nice thing for him by having to tend to my emotional dysregulation). The problem is that it's getting worse every day and this morning it was so intense that I definitely failed at masking it. He noticed something was wrong so we had a conversation about it.
He said he doesn't want to hurt me like this and asked me what I want him to do (as in, stop talking to her or what) I couldn't have possibly answered that question in such an erratic moment so we paused the conversation.
I feel incredibly guilty and incredibly confused at myself.
Am I even poly? Why did I react like that? Do I only like the idea of a triad rather than solo dating? Would it have been better/different if I had met or known this girl before?
I've only recently been diagnosed with BPD, so I'm currently going through trying meds out and so many hours of therapy to help me regulate my abandonment fear and my emotions. Maybe if this had happened in a year or two, when I would have more experience in dealing with my BPD this would have gone differently? Is it just this transitory and unstable period that made me react like this?
And also: what the actual fuck do I do? I feel like any option sucks. Telling him I prefer to close the relationship while I go through this tough period would make me feel so fucking guilty and feel like I am depriving him of the opportunity of a connection (Mind you he is the sweetest most understanding person ever so he is not going to have a problem if I chose this) I mean they literally just know each other for a couple of weeks so it's not like they are inlove but at the same time for her to book a freaking plane ticket to see him it must mean a lot. OR option two: letting him go ahead with the relationship with this girl which would end up eating me alive slowly.
Meanwhile the annoying voices spinning around me tell me that I'm being a hypocrite and I'm only burdening him and he will be better off with her and I should just leave.
Has anyone have similar situations, and if so, how did you overcome them?
I feel like I'm genuinely living in a nightmare so I would appreciate hearing of anyone's thoughts about this.

Filling station closed

I was so so sad to see the filling station closed, and I really hope the building doesn't get bought by some big company.
It was really its own kind in Galway, as far as I'm aware, and I'm so sad cause I finally got a bike with a basket and was planning to go there often to refill pasta, rice, oil, vinegar etc without going to supermarkets and having to buy plastic packaged everything.
Does anyone know of a similar place around Galway or am I forced to use the supermarkets? ☹️

Backyard Door - renter!

Hi I recently moved into a new rental and I am doing lots of projects inside to improve it while keeping it renter friendly and ready to go for when I leave.
The backyard itself is pretty nice but there's this awfully rusted and literally destroyed door that gives out on the street I really can't stand to look at. I know there's no way to fix it and the only solution here is really just replacing it, but there's no way I'm going to spend that much money on that as it's not my property. (And don't say ask the landlord cause we live in Ireland and they just don't care lol)
I was wondering if any of you had any ideas on how to make it more decent or conceal it at least?
Without proper rust treatment I think if I paint over it using rust resistant paint the rust will just come back after a couple weeks but then again I never worked with metals so I might be wrong.
Any affordable ideas - even out there ones - are appreciated!

Where do you find trusted pet sitters for your pets in Galway?

Not looking for a pet sitter, but looking to pet sit myself.
Back home in Italy I used specific apps or Facebook groups and found lots of people interested.

Here in Galway all the apps seem to either ask for an insane amount of money to even start or they are not active at all.
And the only Facebook group is for all Ireland and also seem to be quite inactive (lots of people posting about their services but nobody replying).

I am considering going old style and stick flyers around my area, but I know that can also be tricky as you need to ask a permit to the city council for putting flyers in majority of places.

As a pet owner in Galway, how would you go about finding a pet sitter? I want to understand what people here use so I know where to advertise myself a bit better!
Thank you in advance to anyone sharing their preferences 🫶🏻
