Medical Aid for Mentally Challenged?

Does anyone know if there are special medical aids for mentally challenged individuals? Any plans which are more suited perhaps even to such individuals?

We have used government hospitals for brother-in-law who is 34 but I feel that hes been grossly misdiagnosed and none of the psych doctors actually examine him at government hospitals.

Hes meds cocktail seems very randomly prescribed too when they change it they see him for less than 5minutes.

Wanting medical aid to potentially have him checked diagnosis and medication stack hes on and for better long term care.

Have you actually used StillGood?

Has anyone used StillGood?

Ive only recently seen this pop up online but has anyone used this?

Its meant to be groceries that are nearing expiry at 65% off?

What are your experiences of using this. Trade offs is obviously most of them are just about to go off but I also think this could save many south africans battling right now to make ends meet.

(Across the whole Cape Town, not any suburb specific, before this gets taken down by the mods for not being more area specific, which seems like an odd rule when you have queries that hit multiple areas)

What are some of your highly rated pantry/condiment/kitchen ingredient you cant live without?

What are some of your favourite go-to pantry items that you adore?

I am talking about what are your must haves in your kitchen pantry or fridge. Where do you get them? Why do you love them?

Some of mine are:

Woolies Jalapeno Atchaar

French Salted Butter (from French store in Gardens Centre)

Miracle Whip

And Chilli Crisp/Oil from HelloAsia stores in CT (Lim Kum Kee ones)

On burgers, or scrambled eggs. Miracle Whip on burgers instead of Mayo is life changing fyi!

What are some hidden gems you think you have or that you cant be without?

So I have an M3 Pro Macbook. My life runs from it (not really but I do love it). Yesterday it did this restart on loop where every minute it restarts. Figured recovery mode would fix it but then realised its still doing that in recovery mode.

Did the obvious and posted in reddit, checked YouTube videos and forums and all pointed to a shit show but rare catastrophe.

I then figured let me just check macbook repairs in Cape Town on Google and ready to spend my paycheck. But saw one newish place with 4.9 rating. Checked their site and was a little hesitant but whatsapped them.

Let me tell you, these guys are sharp. No charge for diagnostics. Proper system in place and super friendly. Got it done. Didnt cost me an arm, even checked my macbook after and saw what they did too. (Sometimes places can replace your parts with lesser parts) but nope everything was intact

Highly highly recommend these dudes. Honestly.

Im posting this because of the shit experiences and exorbitant costs sometimes we as mac users deal with in CT.

This isnt a promotion, I am sharing my experience about a gem of a place where we usually ask where do we go to

I have a M3 Pro Macbook. It keeps restarting within 30 seconds. I cant seem to get into a safe mode even. Its just on this infinite loop that barely gives me anytime to check or see anything on it.

Any help?

Are we able to buy the LC500 new still (non-hybrid) in ZA?

I know its rare to find one second hand. Been hunting for one for over a year.

Any input on these?

So this development which is on the largest and busiest section of the CBD are doing what they want with zero regard for anyone or any other laws.

Besides upending sidewalks and constantly closing one lane at this section of the road, i noticed today they have a urinal right on the road where the workers are forced to urinate.

I get that people need to go but you can create some sort of privacy instead of traffic being stuck right next to where a worker has a portable and OPEN urinal on the sidewalk.

Have some decency for your workers ffs
