Anyone else's FNB cards not working?

Hi all,

I am a former MBB and big 4 Jnr Partner. I now work in industry for a mid-sized MNC doing their Strat and Transformation.

As I am building the team around me, I decided to utilise and trial Claude and ChatGPT fully as I would an associate in drafting the strategy for a subsidiary business. Now the work included a strategy workshop with the MDs for the subsidiary which was 3 days followed by 3x sprints for extracting internal benchmarks as well as areas of business and insights compiled by their teams.

The idea was then to sort of input this into each of the most advanced levels available on each of the AI agents. I uploaded about 100 slides/document pages crafted by the teams themselves. As a little experiment for myself.

I first asked to do a ghosted deck for each to get the mock up and basic storylining and narrative. Asked them both to approach this as an MBB consultant would.

Claude produced probably the most closest version on a coherent narrative and clear slides required.

ChatGPT went a bit "too creative" and had to re-prompt it a few times to eventually get to where we needed.

Then visually and wording. Claude produced actually really great options on visuals that you would expect from MBB. ChatGPT constantly wanted to offer a marketing type of slide design.

Claude would constantly use language structure that was also incorrect. Eg: it would say this is xyz not abc so we would create the...

This was exceptionally annoying to be correcting it. Its also not direct and clear. And quite often the spacing was not utilised fully. Super small fonts tons of unused space not necessarily white space. And it struggled to optimise fully.

ChatGPT even more so. The wording would lean overly to a grand marketing styled phrasing instead of clear business ones. Whcih I have reminded both often to adopt.

The turns on the deck eventually totalled over 60 for ChatGPT and 34 for Claude.

I mid way through switched the prompts to first update me in the chat to what they are going to place on slides before giving the go ahead to execute on slides.

Some of the annoying things are that both had hallucinated inputs which were not there. ChatGPT quite more often than Claude.

Also wording and phrasing were no where close to what a consultant would use. I mean not offending or degrading current teams work. Which it often said current execution was negligible or non existent. And even at times stating it was 2/10 effectiveness. Even if factual you don't go around stating that. Even though my prompts were clear in the beginning the working team would see the deck and to be gracious to current teams work which often it overlooked.

Look overall, it got the job done but way more turns were necessary on the deck. I found multiple instances of re-emphasizing prompts i had initially laid out. Wording and visuals were very rudimentary as well as missing overall connective points that you would expect from a consultant were not picked up on. For me, it was great having it done. But I felt an analyst or an associate would have done it in half the time with additional areas covered.

I have seen some partners praise their AI for being better than Associates but that's really them being partners and not actually checking any of their own work it seems.

Surely this is silly that its not on supersport for the greatest rivalry??

These guys are losing their minds by saying theyre selling their season tickets and wont attend games because of the logo change but that the investors are ruining the club.

I think they set out to be the Galacticos of URC rugby but it did fall flat. However investors spent hard cash at the Sharks. Which fans want. And is from a commercial POV the worst thing as the yields are no where near being valid just on return on investment. But a necessary one.

I mean I wish we had money like that.

Yes, the Plumtree experiment didnt work and some of the players they got didnt seem to pitch up with being marquee signings.

But our logo is equally kak. We moaned for a day and then still pitched up.

I understand them disliking the investor because he showboats a bit but like thats who the guy is and at the core of this he wants to make the team work.

I see a lot of people saying Marco is ruining the Sharks and shitting all over the Owner/s about this.

I can understand the emotional sentiment and Im not sure if thats right or wrongly rooted.

But I have a genuine question. I do see the expenses and effort of what the Sharks have tried to achieve over the past few years and that they failed to execute it with the results intended.

But is it really due to the owners? Lets say a few results went the way of the Sharks and it resulted in a playoff spot and a little bit better on field with results going their way.

It hasnt but you can see the blue print and early indicators of getting some serious star power and mixing in talented youth. Then Plumtree didnt work out. And you could argue that on paper he is Sharks royalty and there would be a theoretical perspective that all this at the start presented as a great launchpad.

But the execution failed and not necessarily in the way that like lets say Spurs have with not buying or investing in players but doing or going all out on one marquee signing or a marquee coach but not developing other areas.

Asking for maybe also from a Sharks fan POV why the hostility or anti Marco sentiment is an echoing one.

Any other flip fans converting to Fold 8?

I have had a Flip 5 for 2 years then to flip 7 for a year and just ordered the fold 8.

I had always been a flagship phone user prior. I was fortunate enough to have had been comfortable enough to always go for a flagship phone from Samsung. Also I used my personal phone for business emails and work too.

I then saw the flip and suddenly loved the possibility of not having to carry around a massive phone like the Galaxy Ultras or notes previously which I did love.

And took the plunge with the flip 4. The main draw card for me was the form factor of having the clamshell sized phone in my pocket and something compact but could expand into a "full sized" phone if needed.

The creases were never ever an issue for me and hardly noticeable. I would watch lots of YouTube or Streaming while on treadmills or long commutes in an uber. After the first 2 weeks really it was a non-issue and I dont know whats the consensus of most people who use a foldable for a year plus if it genuinely annoys them or is noticeable.

Now the Fold 8 comes along and I get to still hold to my preference on having something "smaller" than a regular phone but now opens to a mini tablet sized screen if needed with a full front screen usage.

This really is such a sweet spot for me in my case.

Any other flip users converting or what is your reason for making the jump?

Random as hell but does anyone know if the screens at V&A are different? I mean besides IMAX obviously which isnt a true IMAX format mind you. We got the baby IMAX screens in SA not full IMAX.

But my question is, are cine prestige vs other screens at V&A all different sizes or the same? I cant seem to find this info online anywhere.

This is absolutely damning evidence of what the DA and how the city of Cape Town is colluding to exploit laws and as far as illegally and unconstitutionally "selling cape town". We have constantly said this but this is absolutely damning of what the DA government and the CoCT are colluding and corrupting for gain of others.

Its literally passed the winter solstice and Ive only used the electric blanket for 1 night this year.

So for a while now at least in Atlantic Seaboard and Southern Suburbs there seems to be virtually no stock of Berotec, Duovent inhalers. These are apparently discontinued.

But then my only other go-to which is Atrovent is out of stock in every pharmacy. Like Asthavent is pretty shit.

I cant be the only person with this issue right?

What are you guys using and why in the hell are they discontinuing these critical inhalers? My asthma isnt just being discontinued.

What are you guys using or supplementing with? Or is there any place in CBD or Southern Suburbs that has Atrovent in stock? Heck I'd drive to Paarl for it.

Does anyone know if there are special medical aids for mentally challenged individuals? Any plans which are more suited perhaps even to such individuals?

We have used government hospitals for brother-in-law who is 34 but I feel that hes been grossly misdiagnosed and none of the psych doctors actually examine him at government hospitals.

Hes meds cocktail seems very randomly prescribed too when they change it they see him for less than 5minutes.

Wanting medical aid to potentially have him checked diagnosis and medication stack hes on and for better long term care.

What are some hidden gems you think you have or that you cant be without?

So I have an M3 Pro Macbook. My life runs from it (not really but I do love it). Yesterday it did this restart on loop where every minute it restarts. Figured recovery mode would fix it but then realised its still doing that in recovery mode.

Did the obvious and posted in reddit, checked YouTube videos and forums and all pointed to a shit show but rare catastrophe.

I then figured let me just check macbook repairs in Cape Town on Google and ready to spend my paycheck. But saw one newish place with 4.9 rating. Checked their site and was a little hesitant but whatsapped them.

Let me tell you, these guys are sharp. No charge for diagnostics. Proper system in place and super friendly. Got it done. Didnt cost me an arm, even checked my macbook after and saw what they did too. (Sometimes places can replace your parts with lesser parts) but nope everything was intact

Highly highly recommend these dudes. Honestly.

Im posting this because of the shit experiences and exorbitant costs sometimes we as mac users deal with in CT.

I have a M3 Pro Macbook. It keeps restarting within 30 seconds. I cant seem to get into a safe mode even. Its just on this infinite loop that barely gives me anytime to check or see anything on it.
