How did people feel about the heat management last night?
I was a bit disappointed. We arrived near kickoff to avoid sitting out too long. Walking half the stadium from the gate to our seats, we didn't see any extra equipment - cooling stations, water monsters, etc. There was a long line to use the two water fountains to re -wet cooling towels.
Didn't take away from our enjoyment of the game, but I was expecting more.
Has anyone tried using the KU XIU charger with their Fold? I'm looking to replace my old Samsung (non magnetic) base and this one gets high ratings. It peaks at 25W with QI2, but that is more than adequate.
My other option is to just get a cheap Anker MagSafe model, as my use case is overnight charging, so 12.5W is sufficient.
Much has been made of the fact that the starting price of the Razr Fold is only $100 less than the GF7. But with storage prices where they are, getting a foldable with 512 GB for under $2k is a coup.
Has anyone had an issue with videos freezing as they are recording? I was recording my son's baseball game last night and two 25 second videos each froze for around a second in the middle of the video. I noticed this as I was recording and it is included in the video files.
I have not modified the default settings -- recording was 4K 30 with Dolby Vision on and video enhancement engine on.
There are a lot of detailed reviews out there that cover the ins and outs and pros and cons of this phone, but at the end of the day it brings me joy, and that's what's most important.
My smartphone history includes the Palm Pre, the Moto X (RIP Google+Moto), the iPhone 4s, and many Samsung devices (my last three phones have been the plus lines). If you previously asked me which phone gave me the most joy, it was the Moto X. I still think that phone was ahead of its time, ergonomically perfect, and just a pleasure to use.
Back to the Razr Fold, I love looking at my battery early in the afternoon after moderate screen usage and an hour on Android Auto and seeing it above 80%. Contrary to what some others have said, I really like the feel of the screens and the haptics. While I would like some additional customization, it's still a really good always on screen. And then there are the gimmicks -- shake to turn on flashlight and twist to turn on camera -- that feel like neat tricks but are actually useful.
I'm hoping that Moto will find a way to let me add accidental drop protection and that my Thinborne case will arrive soon -- both of which will make me like this phone even more. Very happy with my purchase so far.
Has anyone been able to add MotoCare and ADP after purchasing their phone directly from a carrier? Or are we stuck with the carrier's plan? I tried adding my device on the Moto website and it doesn't recognize my IMEI.

With the absence of screen protectors for the front of the Razr Fold (ArmorSuit printed my shipping label on Friday but has not delivered the item to USPS yet), has anyone used a liquid glass screen protector? Pros/cons? I'm inclined not to start using my new phone until I have some protection for the front screen.
