Hey all. Happy weekend

Here's a pretty great old Soundgarden bootleg that I put up on my youtube channel. I love the live versions of Into The Void and Come Together, and maybe my favourite version of my favourite SG song Searching w/ My Good Eye Closed.

And Chris's singing on this version of Beyond The Wheel. Holy shit...that right there is why he gets my vote as greatest rock vocalist of all time.

Well...enjoy and I hope everyone is having a sunny and smooth weekend

The place where I play guitar and write songs is starting to take shape. That guitar pedal poster is the only signed item from a 'celebrity' that I've ever owned.

Thank you Dax!

Howdy surfers, and happy weekend

I saw some discussion of this collection of early demos, sessions, and live songs, and saw some requests for a link so I pulled out my beat up old CD copy and put it up on youtube.

Some really cool early stuff in here. Put some video with it, so smoke 'em if ya' got 'em.

Have a delicious weekend everyone! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fz4CnFWV-E

Howdy hipheads

Walmart at uptown, here on Vancouver Isle, has a new, official design for 13 bucks

Howdy Surfers! Happy weekend!

Here are some studio demos for the Independent Worm Saloon album. A half hour of pure insanity. Smoke 'em if ya' got 'em.

Hi. Good evening

This is a great sounding boot that I engineered and put some trippy video to. So smoke 'em if you got 'em, turn it up, and groove on.

* That guitar tone on Pittsburgh to Lebanon...jeezis. Paul is a fucking genius! *

Do you feel like surfing the cosmos with the Buttholes?

Engineered the audio for a great early Surfer's show, and put it to some video of floating in space. It was a ganja-induced idea, and I'm stickin' to it. ha!

Jokes aside, great show. Smoke 'em if ya' got 'em and crank it loud

Paul McCartney, from the Back to the Egg sessions. Is this a Telecaster or a Mustang? The headstock doesn't look Tele to me, but I may be wrong.

Whatya' think?

* Edit - this guitar has been shown before, and the consensus is that it is a Fender knock-off, made by Aria.

Hello

If I had my way, Sepultura would replace Anthrax in the Big 4 of Thrash. I like Anthrax, but Joey just isn't a metal singer to my ears. Max, on the other hand, is fucking pure heavy.

I engineered this boot. Probably the best sounding soundboard from the entire Chaos A.D. era. Too bad it wasn't longer, but it is a mighty, mighty show.

Have you folks heard the M.A.C.C. cover of Jimi Hendrix? It seems to have flown under the radar of a lot of SG and Temple fans. The acronym stands for McCready - Ament - Cornell - Cameron. Basically Temple of the Dog minus Stone Gossard.

Well...if it's new, enjoy. Chris f'ing wails on this one!

Happy Canada Day fellow Hipheads. For those who've never heard it, Mr Downie singin' our national anthem.

Have a safe and happy celebration all. And an early Happy 4th to our American brethren in the Hip family.

Hello. Good evening. Thought I'd share this bootleg here. It's a nice, clear soundboard recording but unfortunately, the guitars are way too quiet, and the bass is too loud.

Strangely, the soundcheck, also included, sounds a lot better. And hearing Chris sing AC/DC's song Problem Child is fucking awesome! That's a SG cover that's new to me.

Hey all. Just engineered and uploaded an unreleased Priest album to my youtube channel, and thought I'd share it here. Towards the end of the concert, Rob talks about the show being filmed and professionally taped for possible release.

I wonder why it never happened? Anyways...here it is. 90 minutes of classic metal to blow up your Friday night.

* Edit - I meant it wasn't released for 20-odd years after recording
