Comber - A new one for me!

Comber - A new one for me!

Caught off Lands End (UK) in about 80m with a small soft plastic while pollock fishing.

The picture isn’t doing it justice, a pretty looking fish.

Went back like a rocket.

DeLorean filming

Seen a “Back to the Future” style DeLorean being filmed in 2 different locations today

Any one know what’s going on?

Assuming it was finding space to get to 88mph! But just incase I’m wrong though I should ask.

Very cool!

What are the most challenging waters in the world?

I’m talking inshore, for small boats / yachts to 40ft ish, and say up to 10miles offshore.

I will start:
Location - The Solent, UK.
Reason - double high tides with shallows (cricket is be played in the middle a few times a year) and deep channels. One of, if not the busiest stretch of water in the uk, with yacht racing, ferry’s, hovercrafts, containers and cruise ships to name a few. Mixed with funnelled wind and the famous silent short chop, and “the trap before you get to the needle, makes it a tricky beast to master!

Conger!

Put a scratching rig out on a 60g spinner rod and picked up a 10lb conger!

Walked it to the steps and got hands on before it spat the hook.

Chaos and not what I was targeting but good fun!

Why is nothing being done about the Service Charge scam?

Everyone knows that there are property management company’s out there that are basically modern day scammers for when it comes to service charge.
Affecting tens of thousands of people.

Be it internally charging themself for works at x5 the going rate, skimming insurance, miss charging, actively not communication and being in the freeholders pocket to name a few.

Yet nothing seems to be coming in to protect people from this.

It’s killing a whole section of the housing market, and trapping people in properties, yet nothing is being done to curb this scam even tho it’s well known and has been proven multiple times.

Edit: I’m happy to pay my share for upkeep, but when a building of 115 flats has an average yearly fee of £5k per flat outside of London, then the place is mess something is wrong

Struggling to find a Fin Nor Marquesa 12 or 16

As the title says, I can’t find a reel in after.

Either a size 12 or 16.

If anyone can help me find one - for a reasonable price - I would be very grateful!

Based in the UK

Alt - if I can’t find one, what reel would you go for in its place?
