I’m looking for an external SSD for my MacBook, and I found a pretty good budget deal on OLX for a used one.
Do you think I should consider buying a used SSD? And what should I check before buying it to make sure it’s healthy and reliable?
Any tips for checking things like health, TBW, read/write speed, or anything else would be appreciated.

My friend said that the Qur'an was compiled into one book during the time of Caliph Uthman, while the major Hadith collections were written down much later, around the Abbasid period. He asked: how do we know the Qur'an remained completely authentic?
He also asked: when revelation came to Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), it came in separate passages over time. So who decided the final order of the verses and surahs as they appear in the Qur'an today? Was that arrangement made during the Prophet's lifetime or later?

I'm currently using a 27" 1440p monitor with my MacBook m5 pro 48 gb 1tb, and I'm running into a scaling problem.
At the native 2560×1440 resolution, everything looks a bit too small for my liking. When I lower the resolution (or use scaled resolutions) to make UI elements larger, the image becomes slightly blurry and text isn't as sharp anymore.
I was already considering upgrading to a 27" 4K monitor, but before I spend the money, I wanted to ask:
My main use case is video editing, web browsing, and general productivity.

Hi, I got a MacBook Pro M5 Pro yesterday and this is my first time using a Mac.
I usually work during the day and then go to sleep at night. Should I shut down my MacBook before going to bed, or is it better to just close the lid and let it sleep?

No AI was used at all. I actually took the second photo first from a different angle using the 3x telephoto lens (50MP). A few days later, I got the idea for the comparison while passing through the same road in a cab, so I went back and took the first photo with the 0.5x ultra-wide lens (8MP). That's why the lighting and image quality look different. Please stop calling it AI!!

Do you think 24GB is enough, or do I need 48GB? Obviously it’s a big price jump, and if 24GB is a comfortable amount I’d rather go with that.
