How connected do Caymanians feel to the UK?

NAC, but curious abt how ppl in each OT 'relate' to the UK. Places like the Falklands and Gib will by their nature have a more closer relationship but how much do everyday Caymanians relate/think/are affected by the UK and what goes on in it?

Gameplanning out CR, SBM, and Case for Nov

Any tips? My FAR knowledge is rusty but there will be sparks of knowledge around. Did CFS in June so memory should be a lot better and I did FCS aka mini case.

I hate the wait...

Every time...

I passed this time but seriously, ICAEW needs to reconsider scheduling results when ppl aren't at work. At least ACCA does it at midnight

CFS approach for today/tmr?

Want to hear what ppl are planning to do?

I'm going to go thru the main calc areas (NPV, hedging, WACC), brush up on the discussion aspects (green finance, WACC/NPV/Hedging pros and cons) and focus on patching up some niches for me (index futures/options, RBF, shareholder wealth, etc).

Interactions with other CS

Not CS but curious to hear what people's interactions were/are like with other countries/territories' civil services are like and if there is a work culture barrier of sorts?

Can be anywhere wherever you've interacted w them.

[Request] Can someone explain how this works?

"If you had a Planck length on one side, and the observable universe (93 billion light years) on the other side, and you were asked to pick the half way point, you'd be shocked to find out that it's the width of a human hair.

A piece of hair is as tiny to the observable universe as a Planck length is to a piece of hair."

Saw this on a YT comment about sizes. Still trying to wrap my head around it, even though I've seen iterations of this before.

What object will have changed the most in live time as opposed to how we see it now?

Betelgeuse may well have gone supernova already in live time and we're waiting on the light and I do think the very distant early galaxies surely must look a lot more different to how we can see them now, maybe as full fledged galaxies or smth else?

When will our view of the night sky start to meaningfully change as the solar system orbits the Milky Way?

Also what new things would we be able to observe as our position in the Milky Way changes?

As we know the light we receive from earth has traveled a long way for some objects (think Gn-z11 or MoM-z14). If a viewer started traveling towards the object, how would their view of the object changed as they got closer and closer? Some very distant (and early) astronomical objects are definitely not in the state that we see them today so how does the view transform between what we began with and what we should see presently?

Month away but still so much of it feels overwhelming.

WACC, all the hedging calcs, not to mention the theories.

When i try the problems it feels too much for me to process.
