A small running milestone I’m actually proud of

I recently started running more consistently and wanted to share a small milestone. At first it was really difficult to maintain pace and endurance, but over time I started noticing improvements. Even short runs feel more comfortable now, and I’m slowly building up distance without stopping.

What really helped me was staying consistent instead of focusing on speed. Some days are still harder than others, but overall it feels good to see progress, even if it’s small.

Has anyone else experienced a point where running suddenly started feeling easier? I’d love to hear how others pushed through that phase.

The Beauty of Traditional Art Finding Peace Through Handcrafted Creativity

Traditional art has always fascinated me because every piece carries the artist’s time, patience, and personal touch. Whether it is a pencil sketch, watercolor painting, oil painting, or any other handmade artwork, there is something special about seeing the effort behind every brushstroke and detail. I enjoy how traditional methods allow artists to express emotions in a very personal way. Unlike digital creations, handmade artwork often shows small imperfections that make each piece unique and full of character. I would love to see and learn from other artists in this community. What traditional art style or technique inspires you the most, and what makes you enjoy creating it?

What Herb Do You Think Deserves More Attention and Why?

I've been learning more about different herbs lately, and I'm surprised by how many useful plants don't seem to get much attention. Whether it's for cooking, gardening, traditional uses, or simply because it's easy to grow, I'm curious which herb you think is underrated.

Is there a particular herb that you've had a great experience with? What do you like about it, and why would you recommend others learn more about it? I'd love to hear about everyone's favorite lesser known herbs and how they use them.

Sharing My Traditional Sketch Looking for Feedback and Thoughts

I’ve recently been spending more time practicing traditional sketching, and I wanted to share one of my recent drawings here. I really enjoy working with pencil because it allows me to focus on shading, texture, and small details without rushing the process.

This piece is still part of my learning journey, so I’m aware there are areas that can be improved, especially in proportions and depth. Still, I feel like each attempt helps me understand light and form a little better.

I would really appreciate any feedback or suggestions from others who work with traditional media. What techniques do you usually use to improve shading or add more realism to your sketches?

What’s the Easiest Herb You’ve Successfully Grown, and Would You Recommend It to Beginners?

I’ve recently become interested in growing herbs at home and was surprised by how rewarding it can be. Even a small herb garden on a windowsill or balcony can provide fresh ingredients and make caring for plants feel much more approachable for beginners.

So far, I’ve been looking into herbs like basil, mint, parsley, and rosemary, but I’m curious about which ones other people have had the most success with. Some herbs seem to grow quickly with very little maintenance, while others appear to need a bit more attention and patience.

For those who grow herbs regularly, which herb would you recommend to someone just starting out, and what tips helped you keep it healthy and productive?

Practicing Pencil Portrait Sketch Trying to Improve Realism

I’ve recently been spending more time practicing traditional pencil drawing, especially focusing on portrait sketches. In this piece, I tried to work more on shading and facial proportions while keeping the sketch as clean and natural as possible. It’s still a learning process for me, and I can clearly see areas where I need improvement, especially around blending and fine details like the eyes and hair texture. But I’m happy with the progress compared to my earlier sketches. I’d really appreciate any feedback or tips from others who are also into traditional art, especially on how to improve realism and control in pencil work.

Found this naturally shaped stone while walking near a river

I came across this stone during a walk near a riverbank, and it immediately caught my attention because of its unusual shape and smooth texture. It looked naturally formed, without any signs of carving or human alteration.

I found it interesting how water and time can shape something so simple into a form that almost looks intentional. I just wanted to share it with this community and see if others have come across similar natural formations that stood out to them.
