Every modern day iTaukei person today, has roughly 10-20% Austronesian Dna from the Lapita people thousands of years ago

I'm Polynesian, and didn't know till today that all ITaukei have the same admixture as Polynesians (Papuan/Austronesian). The only difference is the amount of Papuan or Austronesian admixture amongst us, with Polynesians having more Austronesian Dna and iTaukei having more Papuan Dna, But the SAME admixture and Genetic Make up. This dosen't have anything to do with Lau or the Tongans Invading Lau. This was news to me, and only adds to me loving my Fijian brothers and sisters more. Was anyone from Fiji aware of this? It also explains why we also have such similar languages as well.

I'm Polynesian, and modern day Polynesians are genetically approximately 80% Austronesian. What are your thoughts on Polynesians in relation to Asian Identity?

I'm polynesian and from Australia, My whole life I've always thought of myself as a pacific Islander and still do, But, Genetic DNA can't be denied. We've built our own culture over thousands of years, but I keep coming back to the fact that we are just Taiwanese Asians (approx 80%) who mixed with Melanesian Papuans, which therefore created modern day Polynesians. What are your thoughts on Asians who are mixed? Do you, as an Asian, Consider someone who is predominantly Asian genetically, but is Mixed with another race, an Asian?

Fully Healthy, This is Still One of The Best Offensive Lines to Ever Play The Game

The Offense and the Eagles Success as a whole this upcoming Season, heavily hinges on whether not the Offensive Line can Perform at a Consistent Elite level, if not, it don't matter who's at WR, How great The defense is, The Eagles will find it Tough, The whole direction of the season relies on the Oline.

I'm from Overseas and visiting Melbourne soon and I was wondering if Face tattoos are allowed at local Pubs and Bars?

Hello Everyone,

I'm from Overseas and will be visiting Melbourne soon, I have a few face tattoos and was just wondering if local bars and pubs in Melbourne are relaxed with Face tattoos? I know big casinos like Crown Casino would most likely not be ok with them, just wondering what it's like in Melbourne? Thanks in Advance, Cheers.
