How to replace a lost UP Manila ID? 🥲

Hi! Has anyone here recently gotten a replacement ID after losing their UP ID? 🥲

I asked sa r/peyups and someone mentioned that I need to go to the OUR and scan a QR code there for a Google Form.

Just wanted to ask if anyone here has gone through the process recently. What are the requirements? Do I need an affidavit of loss, and is there a replacement fee? Also, how long did it take before you got your new ID?

Planning to go to OUR din, but wanted to know what I should prepare beforehand para isang punta na lang sana huhu.

Thank you so much! 🌻

Lost my UP ID 😭 How do I get a replacement? (UP Manila)

Hi peyups! Huhu I lost my UP ID and I’m from UP Manila. Does anyone know what the process is for getting a replacement ID?

Like, where do I need to go or who do I need to email/contact? Do I need to submit an affidavit of loss or pay a replacement fee? And usually how long does it take before you can get the new ID?

If anyone from UPM has gone through this recently, pls help a girl out 😭 I genuinely don’t know where to start hahaha.

Thank you!!

Grateful as I celebrate my three-year work anniversary this week 🤍

Three years of working the night shift! Although there are days when everything feels overwhelming and there’s simply too much to do, I’m incredibly grateful for everything this job has given me.

I’ve met some of the best people. Not just workmates, but people I genuinely want to keep in my life forever. I honestly feel like I could invite them to my future wedding haha. That’s how special they’ve become to me.

This job has also opened my eyes to opportunities and experiences I never imagined for myself. I grew up in a small town, so I never thought my world could become this big or that I would meet so many amazing people from different places.

Sometimes we become so focused on the stress and everything we still need to accomplish that we forget how far we’ve already come. Today, I just want to pause, look back, and feel proud and grateful. I know the younger version of me would be amazed by the life I have now.

Happy three-year work anniversary to me! 🥹

Earlier fit for a quick meet-up with my work friends 🤍

Dress - Just G
Bag - mom’s closet lol
Necklace - Penny Pairs
Watch - Casio

Also, does anyone know which PH subreddit I can post my preloved dresses in? I’m decluttering kasi and I have lots of branded dresses, that don’t fit me anymore huhu. Sayang if they just stay in my closet haha.

Any recommendations for a good sleep specialist in Metro Manila?

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for recommendations for a sleep specialist/sleep medicine doctor around Metro Manila.

I've been struggling with my sleep since the pandemic. During that time, I was prescribed medication that temporarily helped me reset my sleep schedule, but it wasn't a sustainable long-term solution because of the side effects and my responsibilities with school (and later, work).

I've now been working permanent night shift for almost 5 years, and honestly, I can't remember the last time I consistently slept well or woke up feeling rested.

I try to sleep. I'm usually exhausted. But there are days when I just lie in bed for hours, and even when I do sleep, I rarely wake up feeling refreshed. My sleep tracker has also been showing a consistently high sleep debt.

I'm looking for a doctor who will really investigate the root cause instead of just prescribing sleeping pills and sending me home.

If you've had a good experience with a sleep specialist in Metro Manila, I'd really appreciate your recommendations. Bonus if you can share:

  • Consultation fee
  • Whether they do teleconsults
  • If they requested a sleep study or other tests
  • Your overall experience

Thank you so much. I know a lot of people joke about not getting enough sleep, but this has been affecting me for years now, and I genuinely don't remember what "normal sleep" feels like anymore.

Women of Metro Manila: what are your “third places” and how safe/comfortable do you feel in them?

Hi AskPinay! 👋

Curious lang, what are your usual “third places” around Metro Manila?

By third places, I mean places outside of home and work/school where you spend time to relax, tambay, unwind, or just exist for a bit. Cafes, parks, gyms, malls, study spaces, hobby spots, etc.

As women, I feel like we experience these spaces differently sometimes, so I wanted to ask:

  • saan kayo usually pumupunta?
  • what makes a place feel safe or comfortable for you?
  • may places ba kayong iniiwasan, especially at night?
  • do you notice yourself becoming more alert in certain spaces?
  • may go-to place ba kayo where you genuinely feel at ease alone?

Would really love to hear your experiences - whether positive, uncomfortable, comforting, or anything in between.
