Books with a Mesoamerican Setting

I’ve watched the Road to El Dorado and Emperor’s New Groove lately (just revisiting some childhood memories!!), and I was wondering if there were any books that had similar settings of historical jungle-y South America? I love a good story so no informative type books!

Employee Tickets to Games?

I know UKY is phasing out employee discounts to games (this is ridiculous by the way). But I’m also quickly learning that it’s difficult to get discounted tickets to games even if they’ve not been phased out completely yet. Did it used to be easier? I feel like I’ve followed link after link, and they all lead me to Ticketmaster where there’s no option to put in my employee number or anything. Is this a problem for other people?

If someone knows a link or something that will take me to where I can get a discount that’d be amazing!

New Shampoo Tips? Or Just Tips in General?

Has anyone used this? I saw it in Walmart yesterday and was wondering if it’d be as useless as head and shoulders or if it’d actually help. I use nizoral every other time I wash my hair with my Whole Blends coconut oil shampoo and conditioner (every other day I do a regular wash) which seems to be easiest and cheapest option that my scalp and hair like. But I still get an itchy, flaky, and oily scalp if I don’t do a strict every other day wash, and I always have flakes it seems like as soon as my hair dries. I have the itchiness/flakes in a Mohawk type pattern on my scalp, and I’ve been dealing with it for as long as I can remember. I remember my mom got me nioxin when I was in high school, and that worked well, but it’s just pretty expensive.

TDLR: should this shampoo be in my rotation for Seb derm?

New Jealousy Update

I was sooo excited for the jealousy update because woohoo!! Drama!! However, after a few days of playing with it, it’s more boring than I realized it would be. I wish the player could respond with either a “don’t worry about it babe it means nothing” or a “how DARE you accuse me of cheating”, instead of just being iced out without getting to say anything. I reeeally enjoy the update though, the jealousy thing has just fell flat for me I guess.

Scrub Tips

I (F28) just started in the medical research field and we are provided scrubs by the department I work in. I’ve noticed some scrubs (Mobb in particular) dig into my neck when I have my pens and notebook in the front waist pockets. Granted some of the scrubs I’m wearing were probably being first worn while I was in elementary school so they could just be really old (I’m not about to turn my nose up at free PPE though) or made for men.

After several months I’ll be able to pick out my own scrubs on the department’s dime, but I REALLY want to avoid them hanging on/digging into my neck. It’s such a distraction and a huge source of overstimulation for me, and I’m unable to ignore it. Anymore scrubs that don’t do well with stuff in the waist pockets? Or scrubs that I need to look out for that are great?

PS Wearing any sort of fanny pack or not putting the supplies in those pockets is not an option.

Boxes in Cavern

Has anyone ever found anything in the boxes and barrels in the cavern? I wish there were drops or loot or something in them, but every time I’ve experimentally hit one there’s nothing.

Recs similar to Yellowface

I finished Yellowface about a month ago, and I CANNOT stop thinking about it! The drama, the awful main character, the tone deafness of her thoughts, the scenes where I had to set the book down because she said WHAT to WHO?!?! I’d prefer female characters just because I think I’d get too angry if it were male characters 😂 Any recommendations?
