I'm a consultant in ADMX, aprox. 6 years in Oracle ERP implementations, serving US engagements. I want to move to the US firm and would need the firm to sponsor me. I raised it with my project lead, he said he'd bring it up with our MD, and it just died there. No follow-up, no "no," nothing.
Questions for anyone who's been through this or seen it happen:
Has anyone gone ADMX to US onshore? What actually made it work, an open req, a specific PPMD championing you, or a formal mobility program?
Does the firm ever sponsor TN for Mexican nationals, or do they default to H-1B/L-1 regardless?
Am I supposed to go through GES/Global Mobility myself, or does that have to come from leadership?
Is there any point in applying to US reqs as an internal candidate, or does that go nowhere without a sponsor lined up first?
