The fact that overpaying players resets their expectations

Is HELL for smaller schools lol.

Lanorris Sellers wanted a cool 280 and I offered him 390 because we are desperate over here.

So then his expectation shot to 390 and Auburn backed way the hell up like "nah we ain't paying that". This game is amazing lmao.

So how are you guys doing recruiting with such little hours?

For example, UCF has SO MANY holes to fill but only 400 hours to work with.

So im sitting here giving essentially 10 hours each to everyone and having to dish out NIL just to keep a few.

Its not really a problem so much as I haven't really figured out the strategy yet.

This is likely the last playable entry we get.

They are test driving some real scummy practices this go around.

The NIL skill tree is locked behind a pay wall. Another is locked behind picking up Madden.

Taking away fast coach progression to pave the way for more cash grabs.

This is an offline mode this is happening on, and the reason people play. And the money theyve made off this subscription service is both horrid and enabling.

Its a good game. Feels good, plays well, lots of fun additions. But the next one is going to shatter the boundaries they are tip toeing right now.

Whats the best mission and why is it "Uninvited"?

Honestly. It has it ALL. The game peaks there imo.

Sneaking into a high class event, uncovering the true villain, the most epic shootouts in the game, the 007 theme playing in the garbage truck, Isola making her move, classic torture chair segment.

NIL is a gamechanger after playing for a bit.

If youre at a low tier school, their budget could still be massive.

A good example is Indiana. Their budget begins at 6545 points. Meanwhile Arkansas is a much worse program right now and still has a higher budget based on conference.

This makes turning around shit tier cellar dwellers a much more likely endeavor.

Spending your points wisely could lead to a Massive portal pull, or even a generational recruit for your school. Recruiting battles are much more high stakes now, and you can force other school to massively overpay for a guy if youre also fighting them for ither recruits.

This is an awesome mechanic.

Trevelyan should have been the 6th recruit

It would have been KICK ASS to see Bond rolling with him and Cressida instead of Monroe. Id go as far as to say he could have gone with Bond and Greenway.

Just a missed opportunity imo. Dude doesnt even need focus, just having him there would be impactdul as hell given we know he ultimately betrays James one day.

Can dominants prime without magic?

Titan destroyed the hideout but it was established that the hideout was in the middle of the deadlands . So it stands to reason then that they can right? Or was it just an oversight ?

Im gonna glaze here. This game is setting an unreachable bar. Spoilers.

So there is some general clunkiness. The only time it slightly annoyed me was fixing the blown up furnace.

Now that the cons are out of the way:

Holy shit?

The open world RPG we all envisioned Skyrim could be when it was 2011 and felt like you could do anything.

Except in this, you CAN do anything.

I am riding a wolf with a pirate hat on, with a cannon spear.. earlier I took on pirates wearing catfish Helms and having naval warfare with their vessel.

I made an investment at the bank while my fully armored dog Rex sat there and barked around. I RKOd about 200 bandits while my white wolf chewed some poor bastards face off.

I flew around in a mech outfitted with machine guns . You can have dogfights with a fucking dragon.

I could sit here and write paragraphs.

I say "what the fuck is that" at least 40 times a session with this game. A year from now, these absolute monster devs are going to have added so much shit that it wont be the same game.

There is a bar that is being set here, and im not sure AAA devs are capable of reaching it. If I wonder "can I do this?" The answer is almost always yes.

The story is a gripe I see a lot but that legitimately is not the fucking point at all. You have more freedom here than in any open world RPG that exists on the face of the earth, and if thats an exaggeration now, it wont be after the next 30 updates.

I am floored. I didnt expect the side quests to be perfect. They arent. But im finding it hard to care when I have complete and total control over when and how I do them.

There is some new shit to do around every corner . AAA devs like Bethesda take this long to make games that are not even half as competent as this . This is up there with behemoths like BG3.

If you quit early , I urge you to keep going.

Game of the Year I dont even care

I have never sat and stared at the screen with any other game shortly after suplexing the fuck out of some moron bandit, and then smacking them with a tree .

I cant put it down.

I hooked a big ass party speaker up to my projector at max volume and its so good the neighbors are banging on my door. Even the police showed up outside to jam. The blue lights are annoying but ill get prophet this time I'm sure.
