A tabletop chess computer rated 2200 or higher?

I am looking for an electronic tabletop chess computer that is rated over 2200, preferably higher, but not something that costs like $300 or something unreasonable.

My problem with all the past chess computers I have bought is that the sensor board always peels off and breaks after continued use.

If I am spending $150-250 I want something that will not break!

Can you recommend anything?

Hitting 2 buttons at once with the Mayflash 300 is impossible!

It is EXTREMELY hard to precisely press two buttons at the same time with the Mayflash, even when I am just testing it in practice and concentrating and trying for exactly at the same time, I often get the wrong move.

What do you suggest?

Mapping Yoshimitsu with Mayflash 300

I just got a Mayflash 300, and it is pretty difficult to do 3 and 4 button inputs like Spirit Shield and Ki Charge for Yoshimitsu.

Also note that you can't do LS and RS with a Mayflash as with an Xbox controller.

For this reason, should I map Spirit Shield and Ki Charge to their own buttons?

Maybe I should map 1+2 to one button, and 3+4 to another, and then press them at the same time?

What do you suggest? Thanks!

How many moves should I learn at once?

I am trying to learn all the moves for Yoshimitsu. I know not all of them are useful, but I would at least like to be able to execute any move he can do.

How many should I learn at a time? I am finding it hard to chunk this, I keep forgetting things I practiced.

Thanks!

Did I lose the LS and RS when I bought this joystick?

I used to have Spirit Shield for Yoshimitsu mapped to pressing LS down with the Xbox joystick.

It is really hard to do 2+3+4 with the Mayflash 300 , so I was hoping to have something with this joystick that worked like LS or RS but it appears I lost two inputs when I bought this joystick.

Did I lose LS and RS, or is there something I can do instead?

I'm writing a screenplay about a physics researcher and I need advice please

Dear Forum,

I have been working very hard on a screenplay about a scientific researcher who blows the whistle on an industry that is potentially unsafe.

I don't want to go into any specific details about my screenplay for many reasons, I just need help with some general questions.

I hope this is the right forum to ask, if it isn't please direct me to somewhere better or more appropriate:

  1. In my screenplay a scientific researcher is hired by a corporation to lead a research team in an experiment to see if a certain retail product is safe. He isn't that interested in the project at first, but they are paying him well. Does this sort of thing happen in real life? Is it normal for scientific researchers to be hired by corporations for projects they aren't necessarily passionate about personally?
  2. In my screenplay the scientific researcher is based in a university in Europe and the head of the Physics Department is his liason to the corporation. Is this realistic? I'm trying to set up a hierarchy that makes sense here.
  3. In my screenplay, the corporation cuts off funding when they don't like the researchers findings because it makes their company look bad, and he goes rogue and tries to raise money for his own private research. Is this realistic? Does this or could this happen in real life?

Thanks, I hope this makes sense, I'm trying to write something that could be realistic and happen in real life, so any real life researchers I can get advice from would be a great help, thanks!

How do you practice "moves when on the ground" ?

Is there a way to practice moves that can only be performed on the ground?

I guess you'd have to force your opponent to knock you down in practice mode, is there a way to do that?

Just bought a Mayflash F300, have some questions

  1. I don't want to break the upper left switches which say TURBO and DPAD etc.., not sure if you toggle them in an up or down position or press down on them or slide them, I'd hate to break this. What do you do, and btw, what do they do exactly?
  2. The upper button says START, OPTIONS, MENU but pressing that button only brings up one particular screen. What happened to the top 3 buttons you can press on an Xbox controller, wasn't this supposed to mimic all 3 of them?
  3. I'm mostly playing Tekken 8 and I'm not used to the RB being on the left, should I change this? I assume you can re-map.

Thanks for the help!

If you spot someone who is far away...

If you are pretty well hidden and you suddenly see someone in the far distance running across a field or through the trees or some far away area, what should you do?

Lately I've been taking long shots with a sniper scope or sometimes without one and I usually just miss and give away my position and the person escapes or gets his team to come look for me.

What is a good strategy in this situation?

Why can't I auction my cards?

The only thing I can do with my cards is put them on the exchange.

For instance, I found a Marc Gasol 100 selling on auction, I have the same card but it won't let me auction it. Since it is already on auction, I know it is legal to sell this card, but still I can't.

What is the issue here?

Some newbie questions

I just started this game for the first time. Seems like 90 percent of the game is just being in the right part of the map or you die for being outside the safe zone. So...

  1. How do you know where to parachute to at the beginning so you won't just be out of safe zone and die?

  2. If you are far from the safe circle, is there any point in even trying to win? I spent 15 minutes just running north towards the safe zone and I died anyhow.

  3. Are there any game modes where you can just enjoy the battles and not have to keep running into a shrinking circle?

Thanks for the help.

Pass and Screen Away never works

Against the computer the Floppy always works, you get a wide open 3 pointer against the computer.

The Pass and Screen Away almost never works, the guy coming off the screen is covered almost 100 percent of the time.

Does anyone have any tips on how to Pass and Screen Away successfully?
