McPherson's Quarry Pond, Gettysburg
I'm still learning my way around the battlefield and stumbled upon this pond I knew nothing about after crossing Willoughby Run. Turns out it was larger during the battle and split/disrupted the Confederate line heading into Reynolds/Herbst Woods on Day 1. It was used later in the day as a fallback point for wounded and thirsty soldiers from both sides - several of whom fell in and drowned under deadly crossfire.
