My manager continues to make me uncomfortable and I am now transferring stores due to his sexual harassment
I didn’t know how else to title this mess I am about to explain. I 20F work at an adult store and have for the last year and a half. After a couple of months working there I learned from another coworker that the assistant manager and the manager were having a sexual relationship. I had also learned recently that the manager had made sexual comments about me to the assistant manager who then told another clerk. Ever since I have learned about this comment I think about it every time I see my manager. Eventually I told the district manager about it and he told me that he’ll work on getting me to a different store that I had previously asked to transfer to. However tonight my manager came in at 10:30 pm and started asking for advice. He then confesses to me about the whole sexual relationship with the assistant manager, and starts crying to me about it. I tried to tell him to leave the (now old) assistant manager alone. (she quit due to the sexual relationship and continued to get harassed by the manager after trying to end things) My manager then starts crying to me about it, and eventually I told him to stop talking about it because it was making me uncomfortable. Once I got home I texted my DM asking to chat with him about this, and I just got off the phone with him. He told me that he’ll talk to my manager tomorrow telling him that I won’t be coming into the store anymore, and that I will be working at the other location. I now have no idea when I will be scheduled to work for the other store, and I was offered the position of manager as well, but that was all before tonight happened.
I’m just incredibly lost on what to do or how to handle all of this and would like to hear what you guys have to say about all of this. I also really don’t want to leave my job because of all of this. I truly love what I do and if i have to leave it would tear me apart.
Please give me some advice.
