Is it useful to call the police to handle loud roommate at late night?

It's been several months, we have a roommate who almost doesn't work at daytime and play computer games after 11:30pm everyday when we all have to sleep, she often talks and laugh loudly. We had talked to her politely so many times, every week, it didn't change and sometimes she talked even louder. She also had other terrible behaviours affecting how we're living here, and she can't pay full rent monthly. The landlord wants to force her out but can't find a fast legal way.

I'm moving out a few months later, not worthy to break the contract and change for now. But at least I hope to stay peaceful and take a good rest. Would it be useful to call the police when she's disrupting our sleep again (after we messaged her to keep quiet)?

Are there any other effective ways to handle this type of tenant? (she also lies a lot)

Does any team use Scale AI for enterprise RAG's data preprocessing or golden dataset creation?

Scale AI is very famous for data labeling for enterprise.

  1. Are you using its tool such as DEX to preprocessing the data?

  2. Do you use it to create golden dataset for RAG evalaution? (since Scale AI is famous for data labeling for enterprise)

How's the experience? Do you see any limit when using ScaleAI's tools for RAG related work?

I'm thinking to move to Bali or Vietnam from North America

I'm planning to move to Bali or Vietnam to work on my products (apps, software). Living in US (San Francisco) and Canada (Toronto, Vancouver) are expensive and I didn't find social events in tech are helping my business. Now I hope to live in a warmer and cheaper place with good food and healthy life, wondering whether Bali or Vietnam can be good options?

Have you already tried living in those places? How's the internet, security there? Would language barrier be a big problem? Are you able to find English speakers or even other founders to chat with in person?

Best channels to find potential paying customers for AL & ML products

My products are focusing on solving the pain points of business oriented data scientists, these people need to work on both AI / ML tech work and business stakeholders.

I have tried to post on Hacker News, Build in Public, but feel those are more dev focused, the pain points seem different. Product Hut also has AI area, but doesn't cover my category. I'm going to try Pulse for Reddit too.

But wondering, do you know any other best channels to find potential customers for AI & ML focused products (B2B, B2C)?

Now in 2026, I saw Canadians need to apply for B211A visa in order to stay in Bali for 6 months, for traveling purpose, and needs sponsorship from local visa agents?

Any suggestions on trustworthy visa agents? And to stay 6 months, we need to apply once then extend twice?

I've heard a lot of advice like: "get paying customers before you finish building." I understand the idea in theory, but I’m struggling with how to apply it in my case.

I'm building a B2B solution where:

  • The core framework is already built
  • I have a working playground/demo
  • But real value requires integrating into each company’s system
  • The final solution varies depending on their data

So it's not a simple plug-and-play SaaS.

My questions:

  • How do you structure payment before the full product is built in this kind of scenario?
  • Do you charge upfront (like a pilot/POC fee)?
  • Do you sign a contract first, then build?
  • Subscription vs one-time vs milestone-based?
