Is this a good idea?
So I mostly print PETG and some ABS. I sealed up the whole printer inside those foam pad. It will be quieter and less toxic I think. I hope this will reduce electricity cost as PETG and ABS need high bed
Temperature. But I’m worried this is bad for electronics and the power supply because HI doesn’t have a fan for cooling the main board and power supply and it’s about 50°C inside the case. By the way I hope this is good for drying the material on the rack.
will this 6$/800g lw pla filament be useable or ruin my printer?
Why it’s so cheap? Should I buy it and test it out? Will it clog my nozzle or be completely unprintable?
Which printer should I choose?

I’ve been using the Ender 3 for 8 years now I want to upgrade
How should I run models with these hardware?
I want to use qwen 35b a3b hauhauCS with Hermes agent
I have:
1 Mi50 16gb with radeon 7 firmware
1 rx470 4gb
20gb ddr3 ecc ram
Xeon 12 core cpu
I tried to run q4 and iq4 models with only one mi50 gpu, they work well, with vulcan api achieving 40tokens/s. But when i add visual mmproj model they are out of memory.
I think maybe i need to add the rx470 and put some load to cpu to mitigate the problem?
I’m using llama CPP, how should I set the options? Or is it better if I use other programs like Ollama or LM studio?
Should I switch to Ubuntu, use rocm?
