Hello everyone, I will cut to the chase. Why is it that brahmin men date outside of the community and marry a brahmin woman later? I'm not generalising this for everyone in the community but, where I live, there is a stereotype. "Brahmin men will date anyone, but would only marry a brahmin woman". It's kinda hurtful to hear all this from people of other castes, demeaning brahmin men and, reducing their worth to this. It's also very difficult to defend, as this actually is a very common practice around here. However I've had enough of it and clapped back with "why is it that y'all still prefer to date a brahmin man?" My friends of other castes, boast about their dating history, that they've only dated brahmin men.

Why can't we just date in our community if the end goal is to marry a brahmin? Why is it that men prefer to date women of other castes and marry a brahmin?

Edit: CAN WE PLEASE STOP MAKING IT MEN VS WOMEN? Rather treat it as a wakeup call? understand and discuss this problem?

Hello beautiful ladies, I'm fairly new to this sub. I'm 22F, living in a small town. I've grown up and pursued my schooling here, however for a change moved to another small town for college. Now I'm done w bachelor's and trying to get into a good college for my master's.

Now that I'm back, I realise I have no friends here, hence I reconnected with some of my old friends, and the only goal in their life is to build everything around a marriage.

Let me explain, one of my friends 23F, is in a long-term relationship, the guy wants to inherit the generational business and wealth, which means he has to stay in the town forever. My friend however, thrives in cities. I've seen her bloom. But for her to marry him and stay together, she must get a government job since she could be posted here in the town. I did talk to her about it, I could see the sadness in her face, and acceptance, which did not come to her naturally.

My problem with this is, why is it that women have to build a career around a marriage/a man?

Coming to the title of this post, I'm not proud of this, but I used to judge women who got married early in their life (early 20s). I see it as a murder of individuality. It destroys one's potential and confidence. It feels like you've failed yourself by not living up to your potential.

The early marriages I've seen around me always end up leaving the woman career-less and if pregnant, postpartum depression. Has happened to a lot of close relatives, and I resent them. Because that instilled the thought of being okay with such life in my sub consciousness very early on in my life. And I succumbed to giving up my career, just for the convenience of a man. Although I bounced back from it. But it made me introspect.

I understand there are circumstances, where women marry early and have turned out to be a blessing. But the women around me are educated, from well to do families.

I don't know how wrong or right I am, I've not seen enough of the world to be able to come to a conclusion. I truly want some perspective on this and please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't want to keep resenting them, and I want to grow intellectually to think beyond all this, marriage, relationship and men.

Edit: I've seen too many women around me sacrifice their individuality and career for marriage, and I don't want to reproduce that pattern in my own life. But I don't want my fear of that life to make me incapable of respecting women who genuinely choose differently.

It's been like 6 years since I've actively solved mathematics and I'm having hard time with quants.

I have set this Target of 30 lod 1, 20 lod 2 and 30 PYQs to practice for every topic of arithmetic. Lod 1 and 2 takes the whole day and by the end of it I don't wanna study anything else, more like I don't have the energy for it. My varc and dilr are being neglected. Also I take help while solving the questions after lecture.

PYQs are too complicated for me, lod 1 and 2 are helping me to understand concepts.

I feel so dumb. Like how am I not able to solve lod 1 on my own? I do solve it on my own sometimes but for every 10 questions I solve only 2 on my own.

It's July end already, I'm shit scared :(

Any help or advice?

On multiple instances I've seen Ram kiss, hug, hold women by their waist. Which btw is completely optional, and if you notice you'll see the ladies don't expect it and the physical interaction comes off as a surprise. You being a father of a daughter, should understand the concepts of space.

Also addressing how much of a snake that man is, kept using shreya since she was in power and forgot all the vile things that he spat out, and again goes on to fight with her in the next episode promo. Hey hi guys. I have taken up mba wallah as coaching for cat 26. I have finished two lectures of percentage however I'm struggling with DPPs. Unable to solve a single question on my own. I either need a headstart from the video solution or getting stuck in between. Once I get the gist I'm able to solve the rest of the question. Is it bad?

For record I've been weak in maths from childhood and last time I actively studied maths was in 10th std. What do I do?
