When did you first notice signs of ADHD

And what were the signs ? My 2.5 year old is extremely hyperactive and I know this can be normal for a 2 year old but I just feel it can be excessive. He will be awake from 6am running around high pitch screaming shouting all day long he just laughs when being told no and has doesn’t seem to have any awareness of danger.

When we go out he has to hold my hand because if I let go for one second he will just run and not stop. If I chase him it’s funny to him. Any time we go to the park he just runs and bangs into people and things and constantly just falls over.

His speech is good and he doesn’t seem delayed with anything but he is obsessed with FEET. Idk if this is something to do with sensory but every single minute of the day he’s by someone’s feet especially his baby sister. He will be running playing and HAS to come run over and touch her feet or try to squeeze them

3 month old wants to be held 24/7 but I have a toddler too

My 3 month old has decided she would really like to sit up , but only she cannot sit up yet! Anything that requires her laying down she hates it and just constantly cries. I have tried to put her in her chair and she hates that too as it’s too reclined , the only time she’s happy is when I’m holding her to sit up right with toys in front of her. The main problem is I need to get things done and also have a 2 year old that needs me I can’t even brush his teeth or change him without her screaming. Oh and she hates a baby carrier too.

Dialysis with cancer ?

I’m just curious to know if anyone has done dialysis while having cancer. Sorry I don’t know much about dialysis however my mum who had cancer ( stable ) passed away aged 61 earlier this year because they refused dialysis on the grounds that she had cancer that had already spread.

Im just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation or has done dialysis with cancer. My mum truely wanted to do dialysis after a kidney injury she was willing to go through with it so she could continue her treatment but they didn’t let her and said dialysis can kill people instantly, is that true ? In my heart I believe she could still be here if they had just let her do dialysis

Sick of this

Absolutely sick of this weather it’s way too humid my house is 31 degrees at 5am , with a newborn who’s stuck to me and a toddler who wants me to chase him around the room just to get him dressed! Not to mention the embarrassment of the UK who not only can’t cope in the winter but can’t cope in the summer either! Freezers breaking , no cold water from taps, railway disruptions, absolutely 0 aircon in homes , floors melting ergh when will it end. Rant over.

Recovery with a toddler - does it get better?

I’m 3 weeks post c section with a newborn who constantly cries / maybe colic and a 2 year old who’s constantly misbehaving and I’m completely struggling. Since returning from the hospital my toddler has decided he likes to pull my curtains down , spit , hit and laugh and continue when told no. I can’t physically lift him or do much I’m completely drained and going on 3 hours sleep a night if I’m lucky. have no village , my mum passed away from cancer 2 months ago so I’ve just got my partner who is also drained.

Does it get better ?

My newborn won’t stop eating

My baby turned 1 week old today she’s formulae fed and was born weighing 7.5 pounds. She’s been having 80-90ml which the baby feeding team have said is quite a lot for her age. As of today even 90ml wasn’t enough she took 100ml and still cried and non stop rooting for more 20 minutes later. She doesn’t vomit after eating so I assume she’s not being overfed but everyone says this is a lot of milk for her age … anyone else have a hungry baby ?

My son who is now 2 was born on the 10th centile and has been on the 90th since 6 months old

How to you recover while looking after a toddler ?

Does anyone have any advice ? It’s almost been a week since my c section and my 2 year old has decided it’s the best time to test me. He’s suddenly began spitting , pulling curtains down and pulling the house apart and just simply not listening at all.

I’m really struggling because I can barely do anything fun with him at the moment and when he does decide to do something rebellious I can’t just go and pick him up and stop him. Today it was so bad my chest began hurting and I couldn’t breathe properly, I’m struggling and exhausted on about 2 hours sleep each night since leaving the hospital on top of that.
